Corporate journalism must change or die. The first changes need to be small—or change won't start at all. A good first step: correctly report that Mamdani is a democratic socialist and REFUSE TO PUBLISH any claim that he's a Socialist or Communist because that's false and therefore not newsworthy.

I hate to say this, but it would not surprise me if the Trump administration followed through with something along these lines. Mamdani is seen as a threat to the corrupt networks within which Trump has operated for his entire life. Whoever has favors to call in will likely do so—IS likely doing so.
