Settings > Accessibility > check "Require alt text before posting". There is no excuse for not using alt text. Obviously it allows screen readers to describe your image, but it also makes your photos show up in search results, and allows people to mute based on the text included. It's win-win-win.

it’s been a wild three weeks, several hospital trips for allergic reactions and now i can’t have any nightshades. because my throat is so ragged it’s closed up just from swallowing too hard at least once on all but four days since then. the last two days have been good /1
