Every time I visit the Washington Post they ask me to re-subscribe. I don't think I've ever seen a subscription offer where the annual rate is more expensive than the monthly one. How dumb are they? (Also: fuck 'em, I wouldn't resubscribe for $1/year until Bezos sells.)

I’m at a video game competition/conference with one of the kids. It is amazing. Lots of “weirdos” (in the best way) just being themselves. This is the America I want to live in. I want people to be able to not fit in and find their own way.

WRITING TIP FOR TODAY Sale racks at bookstores. I'm dead serious. Buy reference books when they are practically giving them away and build a little library. I cannot explain the difference between a book and the ENTIRE WEB. A good reference book will give you a dozen ideas in the first chapter.
