The Ghost of Cassiopeia. This is a pretty faint target to try and capture from light polluted city skies and only getting about 4 hours doesn’t help, but it is a good start!✨🔭 #astrophotography #astronomy #space #photography #telescope

Reassembled my Sharpstar Optics Mono Imaging rig for nebula season! #astrophotography #astronomy #telescope #space #photography #equipment #science

I love the new tools in Siril 1.4.2, they are powerful AI based, but there is something to be said for that old manual touch and eye. This is my M101 reprocessed with my old workflow. To me it’s just better, maybe thats personal bias! Opinions? #astrophotography #astronomy #photography #siril #space

New tools in Siril 1.4.2 Beta. A whole new learning curve and workflow…🙄 Reworking some old data to see what the new tools are capable of. So far they seem to be very powerful! M51, the Whirlpool Galaxy.✨🔭 #astrophotography #astronomy #space #galaxy #photography #siril

M101, the Pinwheel Galaxy. I spent 10 hrs over a few nights shooting this beautiful spiral galaxy in LRGB. Located in Ursa Major 21 million light years from Earth, the photons captured by my sensor have been travelling for 21 million years.✨🔭 #astrophotography #astronomy #space #galaxy #photography

WIP: The Cosmic Question Mark. 4hours total so far on this immense nebula located in Cepheus. ✨🔭 #astrophotography #astronomy #nebula #photography #space

Pretty cool to be able to get a shot of the Milky Way with some bonus aurora!✨🔭 #astrophotography #aurora #milkyway #astronomy #space #photography

Will we hit Solar Maximum in 2025?Although the Aurora interferes with my deep sky work I have learned to appreciate its beauty. Not everyone gets to see such a spectacular show!✨🔭 #astrophotography #aurora #space #astronomy #photography #nightsky

My history with NGC7000… One of my first and favourite targets of the summer sky here, I struggled for a long time to capture what I imagined in my mind. These are my various attempts over a 5 year period.✨🔭 #astrophotography #astronomy #space #photography

This was my very first target with a mono imaging rig, using the same filters and colour palette as the Hubble telescope but from the convenience of my back garden! This is the Cygnus Wall in the North American nebula, NGC7000.✨🔭 #astrophotography #astronomy #space #photography #hubble

Tonight’s Moon. May 08/2025.✨🔭 #astrophotography #moon #space #astronomy #nightsky #photography

1500 light years from us, in the Cepheus region, you will find NGC 7023, the Ghost Nebula. This dark reflection nebula is a tough target, I had to get to dark skies to complete this 18 hour LRGB image.✨🔭 #astrophotography #astronomy #space #photography #telescope #ghost

Heart and Soul nebulae, starless in Hydrogen Alpha. Clear skies everyone!✨🔭 #astrophotography #astronomy #space #photography

M-65, M66 and NGC 3628, the Leo Triplet in wide field. I shot this famous trio of galaxies with my little Redcat 51 and ZWO ASI 2600 Duo one shot colour camera. This is roughly 4 hours of 300 second exposures.✨🔭 #astrophotography #astronomy #space #galaxy #photography #nightsky

WIP: The first 4 hours luminance channel on M101, the Pinwheel Galaxy.✨🔭 #astrophotography #astronomy #space #galaxy #photography

Today’s Sun and massive sunspot!☀️ May 04/2025. #astrophotography #astronomy #solar #space #photography

The sad effects of suburban light pollution. This is my backyard at 10:30pm. Night no longer exists. This is nuisance lighting. People think it makes things safer lighting everything up when in reality there is no evidence to support that. BE A GOOD NEIGHBOUR!!! #astronomy #astrophotography

Final edit for now on M51 Whirlpool Galaxy. 30 million light years from Earth, 2 galaxies trapped in a cosmic dance. This is 10 hours total integration in mono LRGB. #astrophotography #astronomy #space #galaxy #photography

Processing my 10 hours of data on M51, Whirlpool Galaxy. This is just a WIP preview.✨🔭 #astrophotography #astronomy #galaxy #space #photography
