Yes, but such people don't really understand the concept of "enough". Why want more? Why, when they've already got so much it's making them sick, do they still want more? There is no why. It's like an animal eating itself to death. There is no such thing as enough.

Hey, here's a really great short story for your saturday afternoon, with a real gutpuncher of a last line. Enjoy! hex.ooo/library/nine...

Here's another random crossword clue: One plucked from island capital at last having to return (7)

Yet again people think they're arguing about reality, when in fact they're only arguing about language. You often. Who is or isn't English turns out to be quite meaningless because English is itself a meaningless concept.

Oh no you don't. Today's crossword clue is what suddenly occurred to me twenty seconds ago while I was drinking my tea. That's not the clue. That's just a tweet about tea. This is the clue: Squeeze out latest novel before you know it (7)

Have one to take with you: Ready for a spin, or spinning flat out to break the gearbox (9) Later. Toodle pip.

It was as though a giant turd had been left on the parliamentary benches, whereupon the Speaker, mistaking it for the Member for Clacton, invited it to address the House.

Donald Trump in 1939, handing Poland over to Hitler and declaring peace in our time.

Communism used to be very like Trumpism; where facts and logic and reason were all abandoned in pursuit of this one demented religion.

Oh, Trump is evil. He proved that when he shit stirred a mob to invade congress and tried to claim an election which he had lost. Trump is evil, and the whole world knows it. Except the Americans, who to their infinite shame elected him again.

I keep trying to imagine what must be going on inside the heads of all these Trumpsters; and honestly, I just cannot envision what the world must look like to them. They're all clearly insane, as though infected with some sort of brain worm slowly eating away their personality and reason.

Donald Trump is a clear and present danger to the safety of America and the American people. If I was Congress, I would act on that without delay

Convinces me the more that Trump will have to be removed

I know the reason why politicians and media persons are still defending Brexit. It's because Brexit is the biggest thing they've ever been involved in. And it's the last thing they'll ever be involved in. And they don't want the last and biggest thing they ever did to be a massive turd.

£3bn to Thames Water, you say? Is that the £3bn they intend to raise by killing the disabled? #disability #mecfs #FuckLabour

I was just thinking about anagrams in crossword puzzles. Have I said this before? When you come to think up a crossword clue, especially a longish word, you're always tempted to do anagrams. If it's a one-off clue, a competition in the paper or something, you always tend to get anagrams.

Had your breakfast? Lovely. Today's random word needing a crossword clue is HORTICULTURE Nice long word. Lots of possibilities . . .

Like you said before, Trump will be gone before Britain's next election, and like a migrating parasite worm, she'll have find another arse to latch herself onto. www.politics.co.uk/news/2025/02...
