a good bit, when talking to someone who went to yale, is to persistently call it 'the university of yale'

Final lecture of the term for Intermediate Logic. We're finishing off with Gödel's First Incompleteness Theorem. This is really a highlight of my teaching year.

Doing some quick arithmetic here.... Between audio and video versions, we've reached 100 downloads! 🙌

The list of accepted papers for the DEON conference in July has now been published: sites.google.com/view/deon-20... Come have a look at what is going to be presented this year!

I recently took the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language, and I managed to get B1 on reading comprehension. My speaking and listening comprehension lag behind a bit, but I was pleased about the B1 on reading.

Newly published: "The Logic of Dynamical Systems Is Relevant", by Levin Hornischer and Francesco Berto, Mind, 2025, doi.org/10.1093/mind...

#MathSky there's a new online open-access (and free) journal for mathematics and fiber arts: Interlace. Now accepting manuscripts! Editors-in-Chief: sarah-marie belcastro and Carolyn Yackel. 🧶 www.interlace-journal.org

I’m very excited to be spending the next two weeks at St Andrews, visiting the Philosophy Department as a global fellow. My stay is kicking off with a workshop on hyperintensionality and then a solo talk a few days later.

Does anyone on here know Kristie Dotson's work on epistemic violence and epistemic oppression really well?

I'm pleased to say that my paper "Failures of γ" with Tore Fjetland Øgaard has been accepted for the special issue of Studia Logica in honor of Nuel Belnap. I'm very happy about this since γ is related to Nuel's early work in logic, and it's great to dedicate this to his memory.

I'm going to promote my recent book once more bc if not me, then who? #philsky #philosophy #epistemology #socialepistemology www.cambridge.org/core/element...

When a mathematician puts a curse on anyone who dares to doubt that a theorem is true, that's called Proof by Malediction.

In Philosophy in Review, Hassan Masoud has a nice review of Logical Methods, by me and Greg Restall www.erudit.org/en/journals/...

New diamond open access logic journal!

I really bloody love this paper. Joe does great work showing how moral concepts are open textured, and how this has important consequences for moral theorising.

Synthese has a cfp for a collection on Feminist Logic, edited by Sara Ayhan link.springer.com/collections/...

Did you read adult books as a kid/teen? If so, share one that had a great impact on you.

So happy to share our article Industrial Distraction is officially published at PHOS! I'm really proud of this one. We show how real but distracting information - like that exercise can reduce diabetes risk - is used by industries like Coca Cola to convince the public their product is safe
