every so often I think about the kindness I’m affording men I have known by not naming the way they’ve treated me. not illegal things, not horrific, just the garden variety shitty dude stuff that I tell myself wouldn’t be worth the trouble of speaking. but I still carry it and I’m getting tired.

It's one of those days where I have questions and will never get an answer. Closure is non-existent. And the ever repeated cliche of "it's not you, it's them" quite frankly doesn't cut it. You know what? It feels like it IS me and I don't know what I need to fix to make it better.
