Learned of Greg Millen's passing in the early innings of tonight's impressive #BlueJays win in Boston. Very sad tonight. Worked with "Spoons" on the original Ottawa Senators TV booth along with the late Don Chevrier, spearheaded by the legendary John Hudson. Enjoyed many laughs with a good guy. RIP

Carson's Nightly #BlueJays Recap, Edition V2025_011: Gawd awful night for baseball in "America's Most Beloved Stadium". First off, so glad that we got this in. 3 degrees C made sense because 48 years ago on this date, the franchise debuted 3 degrees cooler. 6-2 win w/Springer continuing his ascent

With his strikeout in the 2nd, #BlueJays Davis Schneider is now hitless in his last 30 at bats going back to September of last season.

And here we thought the balls were being "juiced" again #TorpedoBats #MLB

Andres Gimenez with his 3rd HR in five games to start his #BlueJays career. Last season, his 3rd HR came in game 44.

It appears #Yankees are going to bludgeon their way to defend the A.L. pennant. Meanwhile, in Toronto...

#BlueJays 6 HR allowed is a franchise record for Opening Day. Old record was 4, 4/1/2002 vs Red Sox

The calm before the 162 game storm #BlueJays #Sportsnet

33rd #OpeningDay for the old statsman. Always feels like the first day of a new school year!

Congratulations to the entire Wagner family with Billy's election to the Baseball Hall of Fame. h/t to Blue Jays infielder & son Will.

2024 can't end quick enough for this Bears & Blue Jays fan.

A couple of QB's looking solid on this Sunday night. This is what happens with proper coaching/schemes. As a Bears fan, this better be resonating at Halas Hall.

The distance between his home & the ballpark is roughly 15 km. And with D'backs spring training camp also being in Scottsdale, it's a no-brainer to me. $210 million will make the rest of his days quite comfortable. Plus, the 24/7 negative feedback on social media towards the Jays didn't help 2/2

I harbor no ill will Corbin Burnes. Giants & Blue Jays, reportedly, offered more $$$, but taxes were more favorable in AZ, where he lives with his family in the off-season. I've never had any problem with a player wanting to play where he lives, no matter the $$$ that he left on the table 1/2

Chiefs really playing with fire, leaving Mahomes in against a vastly inferior opponent.

As a Bears fan, at least I can take solace in the fact that I'm not a Browns fan. It really is the small things in life that make it livable.

I said it in week 1 (on that other platform), and I'll say it again tonight. Too many flags is bogging the NFL down.

Books for developing minds are very important in these splintered times. www.facebook.com/share/19XqP3...

Best of luck to Jordan Romano🇨🇦 as he embarks on the next chapter of his career with the Phillies.

At least Blue Jays will only face Soto three times a season until a number of people will be sitting in their forever urn on a shelf.

He wasn't with us long, but congratulations to Dave Parker on his election to the Baseball Hall of Fame, the 11th ex-Blue Jays player/manager/executive to get the call.

So Danny Jansen is now a Ray. Doesn't that just stick in your side & give it an extra twist.

From left to right: Juan Soto Scott Boras The 5 GM's who still have skin in the game as of midnight.

Finally starting to feel Christmasy.

Sure was a big weekend for brawling across the football landscape. 2024 can't end quick enough.

Canada's biggest Bears fan is done for this season. Wake me up when they find a veteran coach who can manage the clock.
