Observations from Chicago march: - a *lot* of American flags. Not just upside down ones, either. Normies are indeed pissed & out in force. I saw one old guy with a flag as a cape, no lie, go up to a line of bike cops and thank them for their service. - Mexican, Palestinian & Latin Am. flags too

I really enjoy seeing all the creative signs

🪶House Finch - waiting its turn near the feeders in our backyard. I think it straightened up a bit when it saw the camera, added a little cute fluff to its feathers. 😃 #birding #photography #wildlife #wildlifephotography #nature #naturephotography #birds

Kentucky cops are training their dogs at a Creationist theme park where they’re rewarded for memorizing Bible verses. Taxpayer-funded Jesus dog school is real. Will anyone care? www.friendlyatheist.com/p/kentucky-c...

Play to reenact religious ceremonies was not unusual in the '60's. We played school included church and even had an annual May Crowning ceremony. Girls in the neighborhood chose a crowner. We wore our first communion or any white dress. Invited the local nuns and priests. We have lots of photos.

I'm old enough to remember how drearily boring Latin mass was. I lived for the bells.
