i haven’t been very active on here at all but DS2 is literally taking over my life so i probably won’t be very active for a while 🤟🏼 here’s another picture of the moon 🌛

I just wanna get lost with you 🫵—where the waves whisper and the sky opens up like this. 🌊☀️💙 #LostWithYou #BeachEscape #OceanLove #SunrayMagic #PeacefulGetaway #RomanticVibes #JustUs #CoastalDream #WanderWithMe

I started writing Erased after years of frustration with the direction of our world. Feeling like people were blind to the truth. This is by far one of the best compliments from a reader so far. She understood what Erased is. #books #fiction #scifi #booksky #bookreview

WATCH: Supreme Court gives Trump unchecked power with a 6-3 ruling ending lower courts authority. youtu.be/Oq-hbilyksw

‘Not just an imperial Executive, but an imperial Supreme Court’: @tribelaw.bsky.social reacts to birthright ruling youtu.be/Dkzub79HxEw?...

remember when Supreme Court Justice Thomas was in the news bc it was proven that he’d taken bribes from a billionaire & nothing happened

So the Christo-fascist Supreme Court majority doesn’t want states to decide if firearms can be banned - but when it comes to banning abortions, gender-affirming meds & now funding for Planned Parenthood that provides critical Medicaid lifelines - they want states to decide.

Sorry if you’re just waking up to read this opinion about the intolerably corrupt supreme court.

Supreme Court

Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor on the court limiting nationwide injunctions on birthright citizenship: "No right is safe in the new legal regime the Court creates.“ REPOST if you stand with Justice Sotomayor against the “orange goul” tRamp !

WSJ editors trash conservative Supreme Court's 'most disappointing decision' www.rawstory.com/supreme-cour...

Judge Boasberg has ruled that the Supreme Court ruling on birthright citizenship is unconstitutional as they cannot legally take his elected mandate as President of the United States. Thank you, Judge Boasberg !! Now I want to know how many justices will stand up with Judge Boasberg ??

"I get that he's the president, he's the commander in chief, he's the only one we have, but I'm uneasy broadcasting his tweets and his comments on a newscast, because I don't know if he knows what he's talking about." @nicollewallace.bsky.social joins @timmiller.bsky.social:

"The first time Democrats got rid of Cuomo it was the party elites who did it. The second time it was rank-and-file voters. this is the kind of civic hygiene that we always say we want from our political parties."

"Revisiting Trump’s obscene complaint that Zelensky hasn’t lavished him with enough thank-yous for American military aid....Lévy asks a key question: Who should be thanking whom?"

Ukraine, Lévy argues, is Europe’s bulwark against an imperialistic Russia that would have likely swept over Georgia and Moldova, and would be threatening the Baltics and Eastern Europe, had it not been stopped by heroic Ukrainian resistance.

"Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth ludicrously argued that reporters were only reporting on a genuine government report to hurt America, or perhaps to embarrass the pilots who dropped the bombs on Iran." They're all Trump now.

" If you actually give a crap about winning, which to me, coming from a swing state is the preeminent thing that I care about because of what happens with the policies... you gotta have math. And math means a big, broad coalition of people." - @slotkin.senate.gov

A coalition of labor and civil rights groups is coming to Louisiana. Once there, they will protest at multiple immigration detention centers in the state, organizers told The Bulwark exclusively. The latest Huddled Masses from @adriancarrasquillo.bsky.social: www.thebulwark.com/p/exclusive-...

"The whole thing makes me gag, everything about Jeff Bezos makes me gag... this whole thing that you need to be the spaceman now and you need all of us to be the ones to subsidize your little dick space dreams. No, I'm against it. That's a no for me." - @timmiller.bsky.social

@timmiller.bsky.social to Bezos: 👎

Trump: “Thanks to this decision, we can now promptly file to proceed with numerous policies that have been wrongly enjoined on a nationwide basis, and some of the cases we’re talking about would be ending birthright citizenship, which now comes to the fore.”

@slotkin.senate.gov is proposing banning cellphones in K-12 schools across the nation. She says Dems need to have "backbone and gumption and some boldness" on what's really impacting everyday Americans. Watch her interview with @timmiller.bsky.social now.

Reporter: “What would you say to Americans who fear that this is more and more concentration of power in the White House?” Trump: “This really brings back the Constitution. This is what it's all about, and this is really the opposite of that…The Constitution has been brought back.”

Trump on the Democrats: “They are voting to destroy Social Security, destroy Medicare, and destroy Medicaid, and we’re voting to make them perfect… They’re going to destroy Medicaid, and they’re going to destroy Medicare, and Social Security will follow.”

What does the Supreme Court’s ruling limiting nationwide injunctions mean and what are the implications for Trump’s executive order targeting birthright citizenship? @samsteindc.bsky.social spoke to SCOTUS expert @leahlitman.bsky.social

"This new guidance could, in a way, up the ante for Democrats, compelling them to make unannounced visits to ICE facilities leading to even more dramatic confrontations." Some, at least, are looking forward to it.

"By constructing this new idea—that universal stays are now verboten—they tell themselves that they have handed Trump a tactical victory, but set him up for a strategic defeat on the substance of his EO later on." The best-laid plans.

Q: "Are you concerned that the Iranians may have some enriched uranium?" Trump: "No, the last thing they're thinking about is enriched uranium...They do want to meet me." Q: "They said this morning that they don't want to meet." Trump: "Don't you think they want to meet?"

"The State Department has one estimate that the cost of shutting down USAID was $6 billion. So instead of saving money, they've spent $6 billion killing a lot of kids." @nickkristof.bsky.social joins @timmiller.bsky.social to discuss the gratuitous cruelty of cutting USAID:

Apologies: I've been silent recently, not because there isn't a lot to discuss, but I'm working on a new book. It's about what we can do to counteract anti-democratic forces. I hope to be back up for air in about a month. In the meantime, listen to Mary and me on our podcast Main Justice! Andrew

We can't just wait for proof; we need to act now! The time for complacency is over. Mobilize communities for accountability and truth. Let's demand transparency and justice! #blueresistance
