My father-in-law has a subacute subdural with midline shift. One long week of monitoring prior to doing a burr hole because he was neuro intact and (largely) asymptomatic. Today’s repeat scan had less shift. After losing my dad to a brain herniating subarachnoid, I can’t explain how happy I am. 😭
