So many were freaking out regarding Trump's statements in reference to Ukraine and it is true that many of those statements were rubbish and even factually outright wrong.

A reliable Finnish newspaper had a bit about a rumour, that Trump is giving Europe three weeks to get onboard with his plans or USA would pull troops from Europe. If true, the betrayal hurts, but if US is the new adversary, maybe we better not have US troops here..? It's probably a bluff, I think.

It's kinda funny when Lavrov says that Russia does not accept NATO or any other western troops in Ukraine. Well, Europe does not accept Russian troops in Ukraine, either. So how about a compromise: let's have only Ukrainian troops in Ukraine? Sounds fair, eh Lavrov?

United States demands "lasting peace" for Ukraine. Let's be very clear about this: 1) it is not a synonym for "fair and just peace" 2) this can be achieved by allowing Russia to take control over Ukraine: there won't be another war in Ukraine, if Ukraine is unable to defend itself / no longer exists
