One of the hardest parts of giving up Amazon has been my library of Kindle books. I love my ereader, but finally figured out a new way to buy and access books. I bought my first ebook from someone other than Amazon today and it felt great!

@joanhalifax.bsky.social - I’ve heard that you originated the expression “a soft front and a strong back” and I am curious what inspired it. I often hear it as a postural cue for people taking their seat for meditation, but also read comments about this in Radical Acceptance. 🙏🏻

Does anyone know if Apple monitors the names of communities created inside of the apps in the App Store? I ask because I have a game that allows people to create player groups. The group names are horrific and it seems odd that no one is stopping this. #apple

The kids were at the grandparents last night and we watched Adolescence on Netflix. Wow. With two boys, aged 6 and 8, it completely sucked us in. We watched the whole thing in one sitting.

Just finished “All The Colors Of The Dark” by Chris Whitaker and loved it. Such a well-paced story with great characters, surprises, and some really beautiful imagery.
