I still can't get past the idea that people in America are now supposed to accept that this is a valid form of law enforcement and just assume it's fine when random dudes in groups with face-coverings, no ID, no warrant, & no uniform grab people off the street and force them into unmarked vehicles

In LA last night, the woman who was filming it called it before it happened.. Poor lady was walking home and the cops wouldnt let her pass, ended up pegging her with less lethal nearly point blank.

Every flashbang could instead be a meal for a poor kid. Every hotel room for a National Guardsman deployed to fire at our neighbors could house a homeless vet. Every "less-than-lethal" bullet pulled from a journalist's eye could be already needed healthcare for anyone else. All of this is a choice.

NEWS: Tufts graduate student Rumeysa Ozturk, who was arrested for writing an op-ed criticizing her school leaders' response to the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza, has been released from ICE detention. The judge had stated 'there is no evidence' for the Trump regime to detain her.
