Intersectional, multi-front coalitions mean trusting that even if other the people in the coalition aren't working on Your Segment of the problems, they're still on your side. In fact, they kind of require it. And that goes for friendships and other more intimate interpersonal relationships, too. …

Happy Constitution Day! I had a lovely encounter with a HS history teacher the other day, which began when he came up and said, "Has anybody ever told you, you look a lot like Peter Sagal?" I had to tell him the truth: no, because, well, I am. He still uses "Constitution USA" to teach civics.

One of my sappiest things is how much I love that the Dot of the "i" in "Jeremy Bearimy" goes from being the thing that literally breaks Chidi down into a fugue of existential horror, to being the thing he'd live in forever, as long as it's with Eleanor.
