Contrary to media reports after the 2025 local elections, there was no Reform UK landslide, just an outdated voting system that needs reforming.

🌻 Greta Thunberg being released... the internetWorld is gunna explode on this one c'mon lets make this interview statement Famous!!

When did you ever hear the BBC stating that it must alter “story selection” and “other types of output, such as drama”, to win the trust of Green voters, or of unrepresented people on the left? All the shifts are in just one direction. bylinetimes.com/2025/06/09/b...

It will probably come as no surprise to anyone to hear Nigel Farage is accused of 'selling fairy dust' over unfunded steelworks plan www.mirror.co.uk/news/politic...

It's pretty obvious that voting for Reform is not the answer. Their policies, ideology, leadership are all questionable and their numbers just don't stack up. Prove me wrong.

ICE causing fires from their own tear gas and flash grenades, don’t get it twisted. They’re the ones causing damages to cities.

Reform in Redditch are claiming that they have saved the taxpayer almost £46,000 by having one fewer cabinet member than the previous administration on Worcestershire County Council. An official council spokesperson tells me: "There were 10 Cabinet members previously...and 10 Cabinet members now."

Wouldn't it be nice to wake up one morning and know that he had slipped away in his sleep.

Oakeshott is talking nonsense, as usual. The NHS is improving. I have monthly bloodtests and have had cancer treatment for the last fifteen years. I have firsthand experience.

I asked a BBC spokesperson to set out any examples of the corporation drawing up specific plans to secure the support of voters for other political parties in the UK, but they were unable to do so bylinetimes.com/2025/06/09/b...

The BBC is biased, it’s official.

Targeting reporters seems to be the thing. #wato

I remember when stumbling on the stairs of Air Force One was a clear indicator that a person was too old and senile to be President.

New laws the Labour government brought in have been used today to ban bonuses being paid out at 6 water companies for failing to meet the high standards required. They are: Thames Water, Yorkshire Water, Anglian Water, Wessex Water, United Utilities & Southern Water. Labour delivering again.

The Labour government has announced plans to speed up emergency health care and reduce wait times in A&E. It includes + £450m of investment + 40 new Same Day Emergency Care and Urgent Treatment Centres + 15 mental health crisis assessment centres + 500 new ambulances 1/2

Brexit was never about regaining our borders, sovereignty, cheaper food etc. It was to protect the money of the rich held in tax havens. Once we accept that as being the driver, then it all makes perfect sense. There never were any opportunities, it was for the benefit of the 1%.

I wonder what happened in 2016? …another picture to save to your phone and share everywhere.

🔴Nigel Farage’s ‘£7 Billion DEI Savings’ Don’t Actually Exist The media is widely reporting Reform UK’s claims they could save billions by cutting equality schemes. The real figure appears to be around 250 times smaller, reports Josiah Mortimer bylinetimes.com/2025/05/30/n...

Thames Water have been fined £104.5m, the largest ever issued, over sewage spills, and £18.2m for breaches over dividend payments. Ofwat say the fines will be paid by the company & investors - it won't be passed on to customers. It's a sign of the government cracking down on water companies.

You wouldn't know it from today's newspaper front pages screaming "betrayal", but new YouGov polling finds that 66% of British people now want the Government to deliver a closer relationship with the EU, compared to just 14% who don't

Johnson put a border in the Irish Sea, sold out the fishing industry, all SMEs trading with the EU, our farmers, universities, musicians, young people, scientists, all of us… And now he sits in the mess he made throwing insults at those who are clearing up after him. What a monumental piece of shit.

Richard Littlejohn mostly lives in a gated mansion in Florida. Andrew Neil mostly lives in Grasse in the South of France.

My summary of the UK-EU reset in three (3 min) parts… Part 1:

🚨DEAL PUBLISHED: www.gov.uk/government/n...

🔴‘Keir Starmer’s EU Deal Is Far Better Than the Media Is Telling You’ Much more needs to be done to repair the damage of Brexit, but this is a welcome step in the right direction, argues the Director of the Independent Commission on UK-EU Relations bylinetimes.com/2025/05/20/k...

For all the blanket coverage it's getting today you wouldn't know that fishing contributes a grand total of 0.03% to the UK's economy, or that it is absolutely dwarfed by many other sectors, like the live music industry, which have been badly hit by Brexit but are rarely even mentioned

On top of the 0.7% growth delivered by Labour against all the odds, they’ve been busy, busy, busy. All of this in the last week or so. Thank goodness we have a government putting in the hard yards.

Brexit was never about regaining our borders, sovereignty, cheaper food etc. It was to protect the money of the rich held in tax havens. Once we accept that as being the driver, then it all makes perfect sense. There never were any opportunities, it was for the benefit of the 1%.

Brexit made it harder to return migrants who cross Channel, top Tory realises in leaked audio. Tories govt knew they "can't any longer rely on sending people back to the place where they first claimed asylum". This wasn't on the side of the red bus. Brexit has weakened the UK.

The Labour government has issued a press release about the UK-EU summit tomorrow. Reading it, I think it's a really good explanation of the positive progress the government has achieved in making deals with others, why that is important and how it benefits the UK. www.gov.uk/government/n...

The Labour government is rolling out 13 new bone scanners in the NHS in England, which will see around 29,000 extra scans conducted each year. It is part of the promises in their Elective Reform Plan and will help with early diagnosis of illness such as osteoporosis. www.gov.uk/government/n...

All of us.... every single last one of us... are descended from immigrants. And without it, this country would just be a bunch of uninhabited islands on the edge of the world. Everything that built this country... and everything it is... springs from that. And we should embrace it, not decry it.

Between them, biased Laura Kuenssberg, Fiona Bruce & Chris Mason are paid £1 million. They should be sacked to make way for new blood. Please retweet or like if you agree. Laura K: £325K, Fiona B: £405K, Chris M: £270K #BBCLauraK

More progress and partnerships with our neighbours, thanks to our Labour government. This time a Green Industrial Partnership with Norway, specifically North Sea wind and hydrogen, which will see increased investment and boost for British businesses and workers. www.gov.uk/government/n...

The Labour government is investing in specialist training for healthcare professions to better identify & support veterans, serving personnel and their families. The specialist needs for these groups include combat injuries, mental health conditions and navigating the civilian health care system.

Seems obvious really.

After asset stripping England water companies warn of rationing. 35 reservoirs sold for £26m profit. Southern Water plan to decommission 43 of 93 reservoirs, build one. 1 trillion litres lost through leaky pipes. Companies have 1,135 criminal convictions. End the privatisation scam.

Welcome to Faragestan.

Reform UK’s plans to obstruct green energy projects in Lincolnshire put at risk almost £1bn in local investment and more than 12,000 jobs, How many people analysed policies before voting for Reform, the party that also voted against worker rights.

TANK vs TESLA "We've crushed fascism before and we'll crush it again" - WW2 veteran Ken, 98, in the tank

Do any of the people voting for Reform realise that Farage advocates scrapping a free NHS? 😫 Wonder how they fancy bankrupting themselves paying for their own healthcare … 🤔

Labour must calm its fear of Farage: There should be no cringing, no trimming – this is the time for outright confrontation with the dark forces of the right, reaffirming social democratic and liberal progressive optimism. Look to successes in Canada and Australia www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
