If this is true, it is only at God's command.

In Judges 11, a judge named Jephthah makes a foolish promise to God on his way to battle, one with tragic consequences. Did he keep his promise? Discover the true meaning of this confusing portion of Scripture and God’s lesson for us all. www.steppesoffaith.com/apologetics/...

So heartbreaking, especially knowing that little Kfir will never have a birthday. Please keep the Bibas family in prayer. And most of all, please pray that Yarden's (the dad's) eyes will open to the gospel.

Galatians 5: Believing the gospel will make us people who love. What matters is faith working through love.—v.6‬ Serve one another through love.—v.13 Love your neighbor as yourself.—v.14‬ But the fruit of the Spirit is love…—v.22 I know your faith is genuine because your love is genuine, too.

Acts 12:1—James (the brother of John) is executed. Acts 12:3—Peter is arrested. And yet. “But the word of God spread and multiplied.”—Acts 12:24 Faithfulness amidst trials is an opportunity for God to show His power to overcome.

Amen

Jesus teaches a Beatitude in Matthew 5 that talks about being meek, and He ties it to the third Commandment. What could they possibly have in common? Discover this amazing connection, who inherits the earth, and how the Beatitudes explain the Ten Commandments. www.steppesoffaith.com/faith/being-...

Being meek does not mean being weak. It means being humble before God. If we humble ourselves, acknowledge, & turn away from our our sins, we will inherit the earth. Not this earth but the coming eternal kingdom (Rev 21:1). Those who do these things are the ones He calls blessed. Are you meek today?

This Valentine's Day, let's give love to the One who loves us most of all. The One who laid down His life and rose again so that we might find grace and eternal life. Let's give some love to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ today.

Jesus told many parables in the gospels. Two found in Luke 12 describe the principle of being a faithful steward. Are you a faithful steward? Learn what the rewards are when one is faithful and the disturbing degrees of consequences when one is not. www.steppesoffaith.com/apologetics/...

Can you say amen?

Justice.

“Herod” appears many times in the New Testament, but it does not always refer to the same man. Which Herod was which, and how did they affect the biblical narrative? www.steppesoffaith.com/apologetics/...

A good question to ask yourself when you're going through hard times.

Thousands of people around the world earn a ministry degree to become pastors, priests, or other church leaders. Are women allowed to be pastors? What does the Bible say about it? You might be surprised. www.steppesoffaith.com/apologetics/...

“Dear God: Please protect my mind from negativity and fill my heart with peace and gratitude” 🙏🏾

Are you ready?

Today is the 80th anniversary of the Jews’ liberation from the evil Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camps. Let it serve as a reminder that God will always preserve and protect His chosen people. And we Christians, who have been grafted in, need to stand with them.

Who agrees? "While I live, I will praise the LORD. I will sing praises to my God while I have my being." PSALM 146:2

Despite God’s original intention to create a perfect world, we see evil happening all around us every day. How did it begin? Why does He allow it? And what is His plan to stop it? www.steppesoffaith.com/apologetics/...

"Bless the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, according to His abundant mercy, has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." (1 Peter1:3)

Yes, yes I will.

In honor of the great Martin Luther King, Jr. The time is now!

“We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools.” -Dr. MLK, Jr. #inaugurationday2025

Journalist Lisa Ling's latest episode of "The State of Spirituality" highlights rabbis pushing psychedelic drugs to help people connect to God & USING THE BIBLE TO JUSTIFY IT. A gross misinterpretation of Exodus 30. The High Priest did NOT get high! Pure paganism. www.cbsnews.com/video/lisa-l...

The Bible says the Holy Spirit dwells inside all believers, so why doesn't everyone perceive Him? How can we know He’s there? The Bible provides many assurances and direct evidence. www.steppesoffaith.com/faith/the-pr...

Can you declare this today? "Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation." (Psalm 22:4-5)

I took some more photos of poor Pepper today. He is so sweet and loving and gentle but nobody has wanted to adopt him just because he looks a little bit scrungly. 😢 Please share with anyone you know in northern Vermont who might be interested! www.hsccvt.org/Cats#sl_embe...

Who's thankful for the Holy Spirit in their lives?

Over 30,000 acres and thousands of homes & businesses burned. Five dead. Tens of thousands evacuated and more on standby. It's like a nuclear bomb detonated. Please pray for the victims, the firefighters, medical teams, all those affected, and for the church to rise up to meet their needs.

Occasionally, life makes us confront our beliefs, especially our faith, and we must decide if we are willing to draw a line for God. Daniel of the Old Testament found himself in several such situations. How far would he (or you) allow it to go? www.steppesoffaith.com/faith/is-it-...

Find your strength in our powerful Savior Jesus Christ who loves you more than you can imagine.

Blessings to everyone in the new year!

God is never short on compassion. His mercy is new every day! (Lam 3:22-23).

In 1659, the the Puritans in Massachusetts enacted a law that declared that Christmas was sacrilege and exchanging of gifts, greetings, and wearing fine clothing on that day was Satanic. Anyone caught celebrating was fined 5 shillings. (About 5 days wages.) The "War on Christmas" was an inside job.

"For my eyes have seen Your salvation which You have prepared before the face of all peoples, a light to bring revelation to the Gentiles and the glory of Your people Israel." (Luke 2:28-32)
