You do realize we've never had presidents threaten to wipe blue OR red states off the map, and if you support a president who does whether their politics line up with yours or not—you're kind of a sh*tty human being and a lousy American, right?

Critical to understand this right now, if you didn’t already.

Funny, I would think it would have qualified her for a pardon and a high level cabinet position. apnews.com/article/eliz...

That about sums it up.

Welcome to the RFK Jr Era of Public Health.

Disgusting…but also on brand for Trump. What a cynical, poisonous excuse for a leader. responsiblestatecraft.org/foreign-corr...

Very on brand for Trump: fascist, racist, mysogynist…and like all things on brand for Trump, very bad for America. abcnews.go.com/ThisWeek/vid...

Let’s face it, this is probably true for the majority of people they’re firing. It’s not like they’re asking, or doing any other appropriate research.

Actual comment on a news story about allowing service members who were discharged for refusing COVID vaccines to re-enlist: “Being against this would mean you’re a fascist” Of course, because fascism means …requiring people to take preventative measures to avoid the spread of deadly diseases …?

What could go wrong? Oh…yeah. www.cbsnews.com/news/cdc-dis...

NOAA is reportedly on the DOGE chopping block. The National Weather Service, which is part of NOAA, provides life saving weather forecasting in the US. A study found that for every $1 invested in NWS, it produces $73 in value to Americans. Again, this isn't about efficiency.

Folks: I am NOT affiliated with the group that is using my name to support an economic boycott. Please spread this post, if you would.

Right now this sure looks like wishful thinking…racists and bigots are still handing down those traditions to their children in their dark corners of the country. But here’s to hopin’! www.comicsands.com/tiktok-extin...

Sen. Richard Blumenthal is rallying outside VA HQ now, leading Senate Dems in a powerful stand against Musk’s takeover. “Elon Musk… 9 million veterans are watching you give them the middle finger, & we’re not going to stand for it!” 🔥 LFG for our vets 🫡 @blumenthal.senate.gov @votevets.org

media loves to cast it as a "government spending cuts" story because they cannot get off a single narrative about what one party favors (small government) versus the other (big government) and boy, are they getting this story completely fucking wrong

Okay what is going on here. Are the accounts at a private banking entity? Does the federal government have direct debit permission set up? So many questions as to how Treasury instructed this payment. (Via NY Post’s Craig McCarthy)

When Trump was sworn in, Elon Musk's corporations were under more than 32 investigations conducted by at least 11 federal agencies. Most of the cases are now closed or likely to be closed soon, and the federal agencies are being defanged by DOGE. Funny how that works, huh?

He got shadenfarmed.

Sure, there are occasional moments of resistance from senators not facing reelection, but they are fleeting and ultimately meaningless if those same individuals fold when the stakes are high. My latest adamkinzinger.substack.com/p/the-coward...

“At least 24 million cases, 310,000 hospitalizations and 13,000 deaths — 57 of them children — have been reported for this flu season, which began in October” www.washingtonpost.com/health/2025/...

Unfortunately the effects of this won’t be constrained to those who voted for this unholy mess.

So far, unfortunately, for all of these cases we seem to be missing an authoritative answer to the question yet to be asked out loud: “Or else what?”

So, Johnson doesn’t know how checks and balances work either. thehill.com/homenews/hou...

The Vice President of the United States lacks a very fundamental understanding of our structure of government and how checks and balances work as dictated by the Constitution.

If I were an advertiser who cares about ad performance, I’d be giving close scrutiny to the Facebook dark UX patterns which, when you try to hide an ad, show it to you *again* instead. Most likely inflating the number of reported impressions.

Creepy AF. You *know* this “permission” will be abused. www.jezebel.com/rapist-gathe...

The fact that we can always make gov’t more efficient doesn’t mean that Elon Musk, someone with conflicts of interest everywhere you look, should be running the show. Trump could have started with the inspectors general, whose job that is, but instead of empowering them, he fired them.

i am shocked. Shocked, I say. Get them TF out of there, period. www.wired.com/story/treasu...
