When the Carter administration cut the federal workforce by 351,000, it first conducted a 6-month review of agencies to identify positions that could be safely cut. DOGE is just ripping agencies apart without the slightest idea what they're doing. Result: crazy, reckless mistakes. Dangerous idiots.

Anti-Trump protests in all 50 states; the NY Times runs a little story on page A18, while the Wash. Post ignores it completely (as it had done with the previous 50-state protests). The legacy media is failing to do its job.

The Biden administration rallied the Western world to unite in support of Ukraine. Now Trump seems prepared to sell out Ukraine by cutting a unilateral deal w/ Putin, and is trying to weaken NATO & perhaps pull U.S. troops out of Europe. Our historic solidarity w/ our allies is being destroyed.

The Republican obsession with massive tax cuts for the rich is all about pleasing their benefactors, nothing more. In the two years after Trump's 2017 tax cuts, the U.S. had SLOWER growth than under Obama. The economic boom of the 1990s came in the midst of tax increases.
