James Harden is still James Harden.

The Miami Heat with 45 made field goals, 39 assists.

The Brooklyn Nets have been very aggressive against OKC in this one. Hard show into a trap vs. Jalen Williams, again wondering what teams try to throw at OKC.

(the Pistons doing all that and the Celtics still coming back to tie, oh the basketball is fun)

Pistons have Malik Beasley screen for Cade Cunningham to get the switch vs. Hauser. The thing about Cade you can point to him playing with his own pace but he just works to get to his spot.

Celtics put Porzingis on Ausar Thompson, Pistons countered by using him as a screener. Celtics at the level vs. Cade here, Thompson able to roll and finish.

Ausar Thompson is a madman.

High P&R for Cade Cunningham and the straight line drives have been key.

Good activity and rotations from the Detroit Pistons. Duren gets to the level, working to help and rotate behind.

Luka Doncic posting up with LeBron James one pass away and look at that decision. You give Luka the space or you send help and open up a kick to an open LeBron James.

Klay Thompson is 1 of 1

Jimmy to Draymond and Draymond to Jimmy and it feels like the improv on offense is back in Golden State.

What a play from Ja Morant

Memphis ran a high pick and roll for Ja Morant with an exit screen for Jaylen Wells and Jaylen Wells knew exactly what to do.

well

Giannis Antetokounmpo keeps getting right to these midrange pullups.

The drives from Jaren Jackson Jr have been fun.

Jaren Jackson Jr rebounding, throwing ahead and trailing *right* into a drive is fun to see.

Cleveland using DeAndre Hunter as a screener for Donovan Mitchell to get Franz Wagner in action. Magic switch but nice drive from Mitchell to counter.

Cleveland going from "can this wing shoot" to being able to throw Strus/Hunter/Okoro out with Mitchell (or Garland) and Allen (or Mobley) is an incredible journey.

Max Strus shooting helps Cleveland but don't underrate the how important his movement is. Good set to start the game, pindown, fake a flare and right back off Allen for 3.

great save right here

The depth of knowledge on both NBA and WNBA that @nekiasnba.bsky.social and @stevejones20.bsky.social have is unmatched. Plus their passion for the game shines through everything they say. This is the favorite podcast of anyone who loves basketball.

Oh Ausar Thompson came out of nowhere.

Little things for Detroit on offense. Use shooters in movement, put Cade Cunningham off ball so he can get the ball on the move. Use Jalen Duren in dribble handoffs, does a good job getting contact and *then* rolling.

I've been harsher on Jalen Duren than most but I have really liked the effort of late. Rim running in transition, more active in pick and roll, finding the timing when he rotates in the paint. Good to see.

This is some good defense from Kris Dunn on this possession.

Cade Cunningham keeps mixing in these pullup 3's against drop. Good counter for him to continue to improve on.

Some *tough* shotmaking from Keyonte George..

Nice control from Scoot Henderson on this drive. You can see the moments where he is understanding how and when to change speeds.

what a play from Anthony Edwards.

Minnesota has gone zone vs. OKC but the key has been mixing in doubles vs. Shai and showing help. Working to rotate, OKC has been in catch and shoot mode.

oh my

The drives from Cade Cunningham have been there all year.

well alright Ausar Thompson

Well ok Cade Cunningham

I would like to point to the activity and rotations from Giannis Antetokounmpo on this possession.

Bucks have Giannis screen for Damian Lillard with an empty side. Dame sees the under and gets it right to Giannis so he can catch on the move.

One thing I'm keeping an eye on with Milwaukee: the size the can throw out there and if that helps their defense.

The ball movement and player movement from the Cleveland Cavaliers has been key. Evan Mobley initiates, DHO for Strus. Nothing there, Okoro cuts from corner to corner, now Mobley goes into a DHO with him. Get a switch, help comes on the attack, big-big pass to Allen

More of the Jimmy Butler fit for the Warriors. Slips the pindown for Stephen Curry (see if you'll mess up a switch) and goes right to a post up. Curry goes right into a post split, defense is occupied, Jimmy drives baseline and finishes.

Warriors involving Jimmy Butler in off ball movement. Handoff is denied, finishes the cut. Now you see the impact of his drives for Golden State. Force help and kick, helps the Warriors.

The Golden State Warriors are defending.

Impact of using Jimmy Butler as a screener for Stephen Curry here. Not just on ball but off ball. Backscreenfor Curry, Dallas switches. Notice how Butler holds to seal so Christie can't recover. Immediately cuts behind Curry, Draymond sees it right away, easy two
