We have now joined the ranks of pariah nations.

We are witnessing a historic and frequently illegal dismantling of the government by the richest man in the world. Lets check in on the Congressional committee whose job it is to monitor what is happening in the executive branch:

Putin& his circle who include ex KGB are masters of mind control, their use of psychological tactics are primitive yet effective they deploy it constantly&bribe loud identities with ease, the effect of it rewires the brain but their true mastery has been to infiltrate the White House

There is growing risk a sizeable number of global consumers will try to avoid buying American products ,tariffs ,the fear of a trade war and Trumps rhetoric will push business and customers away,a big win for Xi Jinping

Usually when a political leader is elected people just move on some not happy with policy but generally it is not extremist or radical ideology being put in play now there is fear and rage and the anger of MAGA hasn't subsided they are attacking other Americans, friends and allies

Why hasn't Trump issued an executive order to abolish tax on tips he was harping on about it all last year ?

Australia ramped up production to the US when Russian sanctions closed off some US suppliers now the rug is getting pulled for very little advantage aluminum production takes an incredible amount of energy& is not high profit there is no room to price cut so Americans will be paying the 25% extra

Private enterprise mostly cuts senior employees first when having to cost cut but Musk is doing the opposite in many government agencies and cancelling the probationary young workers so there is no meaty redundancy payout. It will backfire as young blood needs to be constantly filling the ranks up 1/

America is made up of great people the despair comes from the greatest country in the world railroading itself into disaster, I believe it will rise above this and come back strong but not without reaching a very low place and permanent scars

Meeting some of the ultra rich reinforced earlier assumptions that the pursuit of more money and power is unsatiable and grows by square root proportions

I'm a reporter at CNBC.com covering Elon Musk + his cos. We're interested in current or ex-fed employees' experiences w/ "DOGE," your work with (or perhaps investigating) Musk & his companies before 47. EPA, DOT, NASA, FTC, NTSB, SEC, NLRB -- DM me on Signal: lorakolodny.55

This. Neither would a Black man with 5 kids from 3 different women.

These are Fort Campbell-based 101st Airborne Division soldiers escorting the Little Rock Nine in 1957. Fort Campbell is erasing *its own* history.

everything is a conspiracy if, like david sacks, you are a fucking idiot

The proxy vote against Musk is a massive decrease in Tesla sales globally if continues will savagely drop his wealth which is mostly on paper

Authoritarianism doesn’t always start with tanks in the streets… 📌 Saturday: The Trump administration fired 20 immigration judges without explanation. 📌 Friday: 13 judges who hadn’t even been sworn in yet—plus five assistant chief immigration judges—were dismissed without notice.

America is going full on Apocalypse Now

At 61 years of age the idea of antagonizing other countries especially allies is insane but others my age a little younger and older are full on enjoying the sabre rattling ,have they not read history or the outcomes of bullying,in the end our kids end up going to fight for their mistakes 1/

Trump news has drowned out most news in Australia and taken the edge off important stories,Trump in this way is like Putin & enjoys the attention and revelence same with Musk they are in everyones living room. The blowback on Tesla now if large and continuous could make him lose some influence

My home country Australia has a sizeable minority wishing for a Trump & slamming our Prime Minister Albanese for calling out Trump on tariffs especially when we are a net importer with the US,hopefully we don't go down the path of chaos, hyper partisan politics is cancerous

Trumps favorability has risen slightly but still below 50%,DOGE a modest rise but Musk is not popular, usually the best times for a newly elected leader are now, later when food inflation starts biting& low morale drops productivity with an economic spin off effects a groundswell of grievience rises

A sizeable minority in the West lead by the USA are spoiling for conflict internally with each other and with other nations, so headstrong they are trying to invent excuses to brawl ,not just the USA but England, Germany and on a smaller scale Australia

American blacks gave the world superb music and songs and changed music forever try and imagine it not being around it adds quality to our lives from the blues to their hip hop

My new one is up. open.substack.com/pub/sherrily...

You sit back and hope enough Republicans and institutions are brave enough to stop autocracy from gaining a foothold ,it's the fear of the unknown and the realisation that so much control has been taken out of the average Americans hands that is depressing

Tesla still pulling back , like a proxy voting system a vote against Musk

Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

i don’t even know if crime is the right word for the illegal destruction of USAID. it is an autocratic power grab and a direct attack on the sovereignty of the american people

Trump looked weak and gave into Trudeau a very unpopular person only in caretaker mode because Trudeau and the government especially targeted products from red states for various retaliatory tariffs and also the stock market tanking

Musk has illegally gained access to personal and private information of millions of Americans the very situation he was warning everyone about last year,Musk detests battlers, it's the smell of the poor.

Every day there is news of chaos coming from Trump and Musk what is worse are the enablers too scared or sucked into the phenomenon

Elon Musk has a dark fixation towards facist identities and political parties the very fact he will have an office in the White House with security clearances should send a shiver up everyone's spine. There is a feeling the relationship he has with Trump will blow up but nothing is certain

The US and the free Worlds fate is hinging on whether or not Republican members have a conscious the next 4 years or buckle under fear and sometimes grift

Air pollution over China is disastrous ,South Korea and India are over the limit as well Japan is moderate

DOGE a toothless tiger role would make Ramaswamy imensely unpopular and ruin any future chances of running for POTUS again. Already though his reputation is appalling having made is money in a pump and dump sharemarket scam

Just a reminder of some of the context around the TikTok ban: In 2020, Trump tried to ban it via executive order a couple months after K-pop fans used it to organize fake signups to Trump’s Tulsa rally, which led him to publicly overestimate how large the crowd size would be.

Trump has been flooding news with extreme rhetoric like taking over Canada alluding to invading Greenland and Panama then there is all the other stuff like tariffs, peoples minds become desensitised making it easy for him to slip in his blatant corrupt grift the $Trump coin

I'm an Australian 🇦🇺 and what shocks me with many hard-core Trump supporters on twitter from Australia is they are heavy long term social security recipients through other reasons other than the aged pension like from service in the military, Nation Disability Insurance Scheme etc, doesn't make sense

All crypto is fundamentally a scam, they invested a ton of money to elect a guy who would allow them to scam more, and he is running the biggest scam of all himself as a result. Congrats to all. www.nytimes.com/2025/01/18/u...
