We hebben een kabinet dat desinformatie verspreid. De ene minister moet de andere corrigeren. Het is amateuristisch en heeft geen autoriteit. Het is geen eenheid. De coalitie moet zijn biezen pakken

Russia will only negotiate for a ceasefire or ‘peace’ if it needs time to recover from the war. It means it’s weak. Trying to look strong. It’s the old soviet doctrine. Europe can be the adversary Russia afraid of. Don’t be afraid Europe! And do not listen to Donald Trump either. The weakest link!

President Zelenskyy has been one of the greatest leaders of our time, guiding Ukraine through the darkest period of its recent history, rising up to Russia’s unwarranted aggression, being an inspiration to the Ukrainian people and ensuring that Ukraine’s voice is heard on the world stage.

⚡️Lithuania's president unveils 6-point plan to support Ukraine, strengthen European security. "We must act now to support Ukraine and boost Europe's security. No more talk shops — time for action," Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda wrote on X.

Europe is governed by the will of ignorant retarded republican MAGA rednecks in the USA. Europe needs to man up and learn to fight for itself

Trump is now complicit to the war in Europe. He’s backing Putins lie as justification to invade a sovereign nation. As Russia he blames Ukraine for the war. Trump’s a traitor to democracy, freedom and reliability.

Russia doesn’t want to end the war. They want to end Ukraine, dismantle democratic alliances, and reshape the world order in their image. Good luck negotiating @secrubio.bsky.social

Is Musk demanding the data held by the Social Security Administration in order to make it more efficient? Unlikely. Here's a better explanation: www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv...

Dear Europe: Stop freaking out over the Trump team and start learning their language. Your current response just plays into Trump and Putin’s hands.

If Europe wants to be taken seriously, be serious: 1. Send a permanent team of military advisors & trainers to #Ukraine 2. Commit to sending peacekeeping troops in future 3. Seize the 200Bn€ of Russian assets in the EU to finance 🇺🇦 defense 4. Announce these steps now. #Paris

This seems like learned helplessness.

I’m in Munich and people keep asking me to decode Vance’s speech. OK: In Vance English “free speech” means “Let Musk run your elections” and “democracy” means “let Russia run your elections.” Now move on. 2025 is about what Europeans do, not what Americans say.

If Europe doesn’t find its proverbial balls immediately and take deterrent action, Russia will likely attack the Baltic states during the Trump presidency.

Ukraine is Europe. We will be there

Russia now threatens Europe because Europe failed to defend Ukraine.

Bullies! We can’t have this. We don’t have to

It is self-evident that we should stop using the word "allies" when talking about European countries and the United States. 🇪🇺🇺🇸are not yet enemies. But it is clear they are no longer allies. Ditto for "the West". What is the West now in 2025? It now seems like a historical term.

"Appeasement at Munich: World Wars, Past and Possible" The symmetry between Germany-Czechoslovakia in 1938 and Russia-Ukraine in 2022 is uncanny, and pausing for a moment on the resemblances might help us to take a broader view of today. snyder.substack.com/p/appeasemen...

Vance needs to go home and stay there

We need strong and decisive action by Europe. The US is throwing Ukraine under the bus and accepting post aggressive colonial imperial annexation of European territories.

Less whiny warnings and criticism, more announcements of serious new military aid and sanctions crackdowns please. Trump ignores words & auto-lashes out at critics. He will only respond to demonstrations of strength and offers of ‘a good deal.’

This weekend in Munich would be an ideal time for any courageous European leader(s) to publicly commit to sending troops to Ukraine as part of pre-NATO security guarantees.

The headlines out of Munich this weekend need to be about European action, not American appeasement. Trump and Putin will only respond to strength. Europe needs to show it, now: Announce serious new military aid, major new sanctions, real enforcement of existing ones, & #MakeRussiaPay

Europe needs to stop hyperventilating and start actually taking concrete action to weaken Russia and strengthen Ukraine before negotiations start.

After SecDef Hegseth's comments on Ukraine and reporting on Trump's call with Putin, one thing is clear: This Administration is ready and willing to throw Ukraine under the Bus. At Country First, we stand with Ukraine. www.country1st.com/ukraine
