Idk who told them they could grow up so fast but I’m not ready for it

My biggest #boardgame crafting project is complete. Made an insert for Endangered with poster board that holds all the content through the recent Red Wolves expansion all in one box!

Played the Tormentor and Marrek Warehouse combo for Final Girl and tried out the tear dice too. I was in a position to win but rolled horribly and lost, but this is a great one.

Got the day off so doing a little father son bonding while Ivy is in preschool. 😊

More Feld fun! Castles of Burgundy is just so hard to beat, beige boards and all. This was the first time playing with the Trade Routes and it was great.

Finally got Bora Bora back to the table after 4 years, forgot how much I like this one!

It has WRECKED my sinuses, y’all 😩 8” of snow last Wednesday then 70 degrees 5 days later? C’mon.

Wild that Kendrick delivered the biggest beatdown of the night after a 24-0 first half

This is my Roman Empire

I can’t NOT get any of these small box games from Hisashi Hiyashi 😭🙌

Finally was able to get Fresco to the table again after almost 4 years for our 10th play. Definitely in my top 5 all time games.

Going to try and balance out the horrible times we’re in by reading through the entire Redwall series. Two down, on to Mattimeo!

Love this for me 😒

Played Khora: Rise of an Empire for the first time and this one is so good. Simultaneous action selection with tight resource management and just the right amount of rounds to feel accomplished without overstaying its welcome. Would definitely recommend!

Played Aqualin for the first time and I did not do so well 😅 enjoyed it though

2 days into the new year and 2 plays into our 2025 10x10 Challenge. It’s going to be good to get through some of our neglected legacy/campaign games.

Just played Joan Of Arc, our last game of the year! Shout out as always to @bgstatsapp.bsky.social for the cool year end recap.

Ending 2024 with my best Pokémon TCG Pocket day yet, finally completing the Kanto Pokédex 😭🙌

Been up since 2:30am with my daughter but hey at least this happened. Wordle 1,290 1/6 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩

Have you ever decided to make reading the entire Redwall series a goal for 2025, researched page counts for all 22 books, calculated how many days you can spend reading each one, then made Google calendar events to plot out reading deadlines for the whole year or are you normal?

The urge to ditch the standard six foot tables at comic con and just show up with one of these:

Pretty sure my 3yo swallowed one of my smaller dice which sucks but at least means in about 3-5 days she’s technically going to be a dice tower 🤦‍♂️

Finished our annual viewing of Muppet Christmas Carol, life is good.

This is extremely accurate and I’ll add that The Holiday had a similar effect 7 years later.

I finally scored higher than “embarrassing” in Heaven & Ale. Every time I play this one I’m reminded of how good it is.
