Everything the Israelis have used to justify genocide--schools as weapons depots, hospitals as Hamas bases, incinerated babies, the mass rape event--proved to be a straight-out lie. Don't even entertain the bullshit from here on out and just automatically disbelieve whatever they say, instead.

My dear friends, please participate and donate to support my family provide food and drinks. You guys are the only beacon of hope for us and our children🇵🇸🙏🍉 www.gofundme.com/f/help-AbdRa...

Israeli almost certainly killed hundreds like this. They are putting out stories now and then about small numbers to test how the public reacts so they can test the waters for when it all comes out.

Please share and support, friends. www.gofundme.com/f/help-AbdRa...

A most worthy fundraiser for a brother in Gaza and his lovely family. Please donate whatever you can.

Let's go Day 2 of Blanket Drive! We're gonna keep this initiative going till the end of "Cyber Monday," to combat the distraction of consumer capitalism and help people stay focused on what actually matters rn. Keep donating, fill out the form to get some merch from us <3

It's true that bluesky isn't great for news and commentary about Palestine. Maybe it will get better, maybe it won't. But we have to keep trying because it's crucial to talk about Palestine precisely where it feels unwelcome.

The liberal administrators who spent the last 13 months siccing riot cops on students for daring to protest a genocide have been all too happy to help them do it.

Why isn’t anyone talking about GZ on this app or trying to raise money for people there?

Ceasefire proposals by the US have become a form of psychological terrorism, not an attempt to stop the fighting. The latest ceasefire proposal involved Hizballah disarming and the Israelis being allowed to occupy Lebanon and continue the genocide in Gaza.

New essay: "Arab Americans, Ignore the Haters: Rejecting Kamala Harris was the Right Thing to Do."

I'm reading a diplomatic history of the 1956 Suez Crisis (i.e., the British/French/Israeli invasion of Egypt) and what jumps out at me is that Eisenhower--a military lifer and staunch conservative--was well to the left of today's Democrats on foreign policy.

Currently writing an essay about how Arab Americans needn't apologize for repudiating the Democrats. Hoping I don't lose interest or concede to frustration because the treatment of Arab Americans (among others, including Palestinians) by many US liberals has been appalling.

Decrying Arab/Muslim American voting preferences (real or imagined) without any mention of Gaza is a form of genocide apologia.

I'm fully checked out of this miserable political culture which tells Palestinians to quietly die until suburban liberals finally elect the right president.

if someone in the middle of the holocaust was saying that the problem wasn't nazism itself but hitler, and that the solution was to 'hold hitler accountable' while maintaining the third reich, you would have very little trouble recognizing that person was still just a nazi.

Please join me this Sunday in conversation about Amilcar Cabral's seminal speech/essay "National Liberation and Culture." I imagine it less as a lecture than as a reading group:

None of this shit--the genocide, the land-grabs, the pager attacks, the carpet-bombing, the assassinations--would be possible without the support and approval of the USA, something way too many self-described leftists (addicted to the Democratic Party) are intent on purposefully forgetting.

Don't let Zionists convince you that the hundreds of civilians incinerated in Beirut weren't the actual target. Any other possibility would be completely ahistorical.

Dear Friends: please join me next month in conversation about Amilcar Cabral's seminal speech/essay "National Liberation and Culture" in relation to the current Zionist genocide. The workshop doubles as a fundraiser (see tweet below).

Here's a new essay that I very much hope gives voice to a set of feelings many of my friends and comrades are working through right now.

Gaza isn't in any way a "single issue." It has everything to do with the well-being of life across this planet.

As we (rightly) spotlight all this Zionist depravity, let's also make sure to appreciate the spectacular heroism exhibited by Palestinian doctors and nurses, aid workers, caregivers, educators, resistance fighters, and so many others, young and old, from every walk of life.

It was never going to stop at Gaza. The plan is to decimate all of Palestine. That's been the plan from the beginning.

@stevesalaita.bsky.social with some important words about the significance of the Student Pro Palestine movement, why admins are so threatened by it, and how to hold on to one’s soul while still being in academia. www.instagram.com/reel/C_RwcnL...

Here's an archive of my convo with @norabf.bsky.social and @aliabunimah.bsky.social about the "uncommitted" movement, campus repression, and the need for anti-Zionists to think beyond electoralism:
