I think that's true of most high-priced drugs. I think negotiating with the drug companies to get the expensive drugs to a point where people can afford them is a huge battle. I hope Mr. Cuban at least attempts to make that happen.

No Ozempic or Wegovy; just checked.

Rybelsus, no. I'd have to check on the other two but I'm guessing not

Yeah. I'm a big Mark Cuban fan, and I checked... Amazon doesn't have it either (and I wouldn't trust Amazon to deliver my prescriptions)
The whole healthcare ecosystem in the US is fucked, including insurance. ACA was a step in the right direction but it isn't enough.

but Ozempic is impossible to get due to its popularity as a weight-loss drug. And Rybelsus comes in a dosage that works perfectly for me, so I wouldn't switch, anyhow.

They do. It's semaglutide. Wegovy, Ozempic and Rybelsus are all semaglutide, all sold by the same pharma company (Novo Nordisk). I am not sure about Wegovy, but Ozempic is a weekly injection that was FDA-approved to treate T2 diabetes before being approved for weight loss.

Rybelsus. It's semaglutide, the same drug as Ozempic (which was originally approved by the FDA to treat type 2 diabetes) and Wegovy, but in pill form. It presumably is patented, and since the patent has not expired yet... no generic equivalents.
It's worked wonders for me.

So what do you suggest? My relatively new diabetes drug is $900/month if I pay cash, and if the ACA is eliminated, I’m screwed.

The fact that Joanne is a TERF, a horrible person and a complete asshole has been public knowledge for a while now. This is disgusting, but it isn’t news.

Merry Christmas! I apologize for not texting you. Yeah, I’ve been busy but that’s no excuse.

Like it's going to change a goddamned thing. MAGA fuckheads like the idea of Gaetz screwing minors. At the same time, they'll accuse gay and trans people, and Democrats, of being pedophiles.

I am a mobile developer, so I always carry two phones, an iPhone and an Android phone. The Pixel is my Android phone of choice because it doesn't have the carrier and vendor addons that get put onto other manufacturer's phones. I am very happy with my current Pixel 7.

Personally, I think pardoning Hunter was the right thing to do. I agree with the people saying there should be a lot more pardons before he leaves office, too.

Almost all of the idiots are complicit. The vast majority of Republicans, and a disturbingly large number of Democrats.

Fuck, and I can't emphasize this enough, that guy.
I'm not going to celebrate his death, but I'm also not going to shed even a single tear for him. I have my own horror stories about health insurance (though I've never been a UHC member).

I thought that the comment to which I replied meant AI is on Israel's side, and I am absolutely not. I am on the "Israel is committing genocide" side of this particular debate.
I think *I* am confused, and I apologize for confusing everyone else.
comment in response to

Wait. Am I misinterpreting? Because I thought that the comment about AI meant they are on Israel's side, and I most certainly am not on Israel's side.
Oof. I think I screwed up.
