As part of my RPG reading binge I read a bunch of D&D fiction which was pretty awful. Then I read some Traveller fiction by co-creator Marc Miller. This short story is pretty excellent but his novel Agent of the Imperium about a “distributed” person is better. https://www.farfuture.net/Names.pdf

The Japanese Traveller RPG covers by Naoyuki Satoh are phenomenal, and it's long been a dream of mine to get hold of copies. Maybe one day. The art is ace and really captures a mood. The gritty industrial feel is right up my street and I love the way the starships sit like parked WW2 aircraft.
