The ocean's like 'sure, keep it warm for me'.

If you live in a red county and you went to yell at your federal rep this last week, you rock.

For some reason the critics are never around when things start to slowly move in the right direction. Oh well, I'm sure they'll pop back up tomorrow when it's looking bleak again.

I can't keep track of the Very Serious Commentators Who Like To Complain. But there was one yesterday whining about democrats not collecting the stories of people hurt by Trump. Well here ya go.

Gonna take a step back to see how the military reacts to budget cuts. That's going to be... fascinating.

Decent article on the Valencia center bike lane, but a teensy bit credulous and both-sidery. Merchants don't want any bike lane and they keep thinking that's within their grasp. They won't act reasonably until they understand a bike lane is going in and they can't stop it.

Really enjoying being 'not it' out here in San Francisco for once. But I'd like to see the Adams drama play out a bit more before Hochul puts him out of his misery. Seems like there's a chance to play out some arcane law here.

This is a pretty standard belief among otherwise reasonable people and it's going to lead to a lot of avoidable stupid. If I could just figure out how to short this idea...

Hey fellow straight white people. When someone suggests you should start referring to people as CIS or Latinx or some such you can't just... not do that. Maybe change your mind later if you start hearing it a lot. It's not foundational to your identity either way.

The Washington Post refused to run this ad. Sure would be a shame if it went viral.

A few hundred people at the Palo Alto Tesla protest. Good vibes & lots of honking.

What I see in the bike lanes in SF are parents moving their kids around on e-bikes. And you want to eject them to the car lanes. No. That's a dumb take. You sound like an 'avid cyclist'. Hush.

I find it fascinating that they won't go all the way here. We've pushed gay rights far enough they don't feel comfortable completely erasing gay people. Just gotta do that for the rest.

Our dear comrades on the left regard a general strike as "the best snow day evah!" near as I can tell.

Did I need to hear a sitting congressman call the World's Richest Man (tm) a dick? I really did. Yes I did. Absolutely.

As a former DoD contractor, gotta say.... it's logistics all the way down, baby. The muscly men in muscly shirts are fine, but they are such a teeny, tiny portion of what makes our military work.

I very much like this quote.

They've gone from "We will Own and Run everything!" to "We will hire our little racist mascot back you meanies." It feels much more pathetic than it did a week ago. This maybe wasn't the best way to pick a fight over the future of democracy? I guess we'll see.
