Reading really early comics is enlightening in a way I hadn’t expected. Coming off Lee/Kirby Fantastic Four, which is written in “the” style you think all comics from the 60s were written in, I’m now reading the original Doom Patrol run, and Arnold Drake just wipes the floor with Lee as a writer

I wrote about this at length over on Shelfdust not too long ago. Stoked that we’ll get to see Bat Fractman writing Mattman again. shelfdust.com/2024/11/06/s...

Let us know what you think of our new show IN ORBIT EVERY WEDNESDAY, Earthlets — Molch-R & KLO-E talk Devlin Waugh, Judge Dredd, romance, love and s*x in the Big Meg... Watch & listen: bit.ly/4k8HWAX Sub on Apple Podcasts: apple.co/3wOvX1z Sub on Spotify: spoti.fi/2Six37I

Werewoofs! Age of the Wolf is a story told in three parts, as a young woman called Rowan finds out that werewolves are real, get attacked by werewolves, becomes a Norse God, steals a motorbike and wears this cool red hoodie. By Alec Worley and Jon Davis-Hunt >>>>

BORAG THUNGG, EARTHLETS, we have quite the thrill packed signing for you. Three titanic creator droids Dan Cornwell, Mick McMahon and John Wagner will grace us with their presence for a @2000ad.bsky.social signing on Saturday 26th April 2025, from 1-2pm.

989 posts published on Shelfdust. Seven more scheduled. Oh flipping heck, it's almost time to hit four figures

Just re-linking to this article from last year because I think we're at one of those occasional points where we need to manage expectations a little. We/I at @brokenfrontier.bsky.social can only do so much! (And the site/reviews is just part of what BF does.) www.brokenfrontier.com/behind-the-s...

I would’ve called him The Human Porch

Wait Judge Dredd plays the sax?

I’ve been reading more classic Fantastic Four and I’m still astounded by Jack Kirby’s collages which appear unexpectedly throughout. Unlike anything else, even now

Draw so much it's easy to forget some of the bonkers stuff

Update on my suspicion that ITVx are targeting the ads I see: I’m now getting adverts for expensive cars so: panic over they know nothing about my life

If it's worth doing, it's worth doing well

Good news everyone you don’t need James Bond anyway shop.2000ad.com/catalogue/RC...

Did you see the bit of this where we said that 2000 AD subscribers can get an exclusive edition

You can see the moment where I tie Dredd as a concept back to BDSM psychology and @molcher.bsky.social shrinks into his own body like a dying star. Happy belated love day, Earthlets. Have an unfathomably large soda to celebrate. youtu.be/zTi-CgVkqks?...

This is a very good list. I've particularly enjoyed THISTLEBONE out of these @2000ad.bsky.social suggestions.

Forty-eight years ago today, The Mighty Tharg blessed humanity with the gift of Thrill-power as 2000 AD Prog 1 landed on newsagents' shelves! 2419 issues later and the Thrills keep coming – here's to the next 48, Earthlets! bit.ly/3nHVcUL

Announcing The 2000 AD Art of @seanphillips.bsky.social!!: 2000ad.com/news/announc...

Abnett's recent 2000 AD work is really incredible, career best stuff, if anyone is wondering what he's been up to! and obviously the art speaks for itself

Good news coming in two minutes

I have a really important question to ask: are the adverts on ITVx targeted to the demographic they think I am or does everybody have to see these horrors
