I had an issue with KDE Dolphin that it was not showing thumbnails of photos on an NFS share. Turns out it's a matter of changing one setting. Sharing this in case someone has the same problem :) #KDE #Dolphin

In other news, today I met the land surveyor (hope it's the right term?) who outlined to walls of my house for the foundation layers, and he was using a beautiful Carl Zeiss theodolite "probably as old as he was". Fascinating piece of technology, all high quality glass and thick metal parts.
