The White House's stated intent to use expedited removal for this guy's family is flatly ILLEGAL. By law, expedited removal ONLY applies to people not admitted at a port of entry, or here without having been "admitted or paroled" into the US. But his family was admitted at an airport on visas!

My great grandfather, a farmer, was one of these Germans in the early 30’s. So much so that he often loudly made fun of the Nazis at his local tavern. Then the Gestapo came to the house and took his two sons at age 7 and 10. He never saw his older son—my grandfather—again.
