Adrian Brody's film The Brutalist was long, with an intermission even, but I'm glad they kept its length, to express what it needs to. Truly a film for these days, with messaging about immigration and $ inequities, tho set in the 40s-80s. (FYI, Adult-rated for drug use, sex, and rape).

It was a chilling school staff-meeting yesterday, discussing whether to go into lockdown if ICE or CBP somehow got past our locked doors and tried to get to students, staff, or volunteers without going through proper channels (answer=yes). Madness.
