One thing, I do feel allegory is powerful and important, and the X-Men are often (not always) a great example of that. Sometimes, the reader is doing the heavy lifting in this. It's just that I also feel marginalized people need representation IN CANON and not as robots or aliens sometimes. 1/

Okay, just 3 episodes into DD: Born Again & my GOODNESS, is it absolutely stunning. I got spoiled on **'s death in ep1, but it still hit hard & the writing was PERFECT as to explain why it broke up the old gang from DD. I also like how the show infers that the DD trio & Kingpin weren't Snapped & so+
