2024 is the year where I caught three foreign air demonstration teams, the Red Arrows (🇬🇧) for my first time, the Frecce Tricolori (🇮🇹) for the second time and the Thunderbirds (🇺🇸) for the third time. #airshow #thunderbirds #redarrows #freccetricolori #aircraft

2024 marked the last year the #CF18Demo would put on shows. The striking scheme commemorated the 100th anniversary of the RCAF, and the evolving (digital) battle space the Canadian Armed Forces operated in. Taken at Gatineau, Quebec.

Ariel, Ursula and Triton from the #lego #littlemermaid Royal Clamshell set. Shot with a Nikon #zfc and 40mm F/2.8 AF-S Micro Lens. Combined in Lightroom Classic to attempt to create an HDR image, but I'm not certain of the results.

If you're in the US, you'll probably fill up on turkey tomorrow. After that, here's a list of model train shows you can check out instead of heading to the crowded mall. ...and if you're outside the US, there's an open house in Toronto that maybe you can check out.

Zfc with bellows at 54mm extension with a reversed 50mm f/1.8 AF-D lens. N-Scale Kato Greenmover LEX Tram showing the destination board.

CW Firearms. This afternoon my father passed after a year-and-a-half long struggle with his health. He was a police officer for 37 years, and he was also a sport shooter. He taught us how to shoot, and I shared his love of aviation, photography, and the outdoors.

Perfect timing, wrong element to focus on. I chose to follow the 5-plane section of the Red Arrows 5-4 pass. #airshow #redarrows #aviation #jets #aerobatics

I’ll be knocking off 2/3 of the military Air Demonstration Teams I want to see this year. I’ll only be missing the Blue Angels and the Patrouille de France. If negotiations go well then I may be able to catch the Blue Angles in Fargo.

A simple sunset taken with a Nikon Z50 and the 16-50 DX Z lens.

A few shots of the CPKC Holiday Train arriving in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on the 25th edition of the tour.

A little more fun with the cats. Closeups of Watermelon and Keywee. All shot with a Zfc and 50-250mm lens.

Zfc + 50-250 lens. Three of my cats: Keywee, Watermelon and Pineapple.

Next Friday I get to see my hometown Snowbirds perform for the first time since 2019. (Weather permitting)

Went out and tried getting a couple shots with my Z fc, 18-35 DC | A lens and ND1000 filter. Neither shot worked out as I planned, but I still learned a bit. I’ll try it again with a different filter next time.

Some recent wildlife shots of ducks, a robin and a couple mule deer

Railroading and model railroading are passions of mine, and I hope to be shooting a lot, especially during 2816’s trip from Calgary to Mexico City.

I’ll introduce myself by highlighting some of my photographic passions. First up: aviation. I love spending time shooting at air shows, and airports.
