5 years ago was the last time the annual TIF Progress Bill included the McKee SuperTIF…. it failed to pass. We’ll see how much HUDZ decides to question the TIFs up for review this time around.

Multi-family building permit issued for a former LRA-owned vacant lot in SW Garden by the Missouri Botanical Garden. LRA demolished a prior four-fam in 2000 and the lot is flanked by 1926 four-fams. We'll see how a 2025-2026 version looks. Missing Middle Mania.

I deleted a skeet on SLDC/LCRA discharging a $1M obligation owed by GreenStreet. While the developer does owe a boatload in back taxes, the discharge may be for payment owed on riparian rights. The paywalled article is a bit confusing and some clarification is needed. My apologies.

The only reason this project qualifies for a tax abatement recommendation from SLDC is that it says A-B is located in an area of need that’s even higher than North City neighborhoods like Baden. It’s in Soulard! SLDC’s “scorecard” can be farcical at times. BoA should vote NO.
