Liberty is under attack. We stand to lose everything we hold dear if we do not rise up. We must come together, the time is now!

#Felon47 violated a court order by putting Venezuelan migrants on a plane and sent them to a jail in El Salvador without due process. We are in a constitutional crisis when the laws are not being followed. Duty calls. #VoteBlue2025 #wtpBLUE #DemVoice1 #ProudBlue

He is unhinged. This is not a stable or normal person. We have at the helm a wannabe dictator with a narcissistic temper problem.

An excellent read for those who are disheartened. Now is not the time to give up. Now is our call to action. The constitution of our land, our founding documents, depend on us to stay firm. We will prevail, the struggle is only just beginning, but light will overcome darkness.

We have overcome near-death experiences before. We shall overcome this one too. Not by denying we are in a constitutional crisis. We are. But we can and will prevail if we face the truth unflinchingly and never abandon the long twilight struggle against evil. open.substack.com/pub/roberthu...

Seneca had some words of encouragement for me this morning. As I journaled about the collapse of my country and trying to determine what I should do, this was in the first passage I read this morning in my read through of “On Tranquility of Mind”.

The liberal movement needs artwork and posters on the level of world war 2 era propaganda posters. If there is already some made, can anyone point me in their direction?

When the ashes have settled and our country is back in the hands of sane individuals, people like this need to be remembered. They will try to slink away back into the shadows, but we must remember what they were calling for.

Anecdotal, but I'm definitely noticing an uptick in advocacy for violence here. About which I'll say only this: Promoting violence on social media is the work of trolls and fools, those eager to bait others into implicating themselves in the age of surveillance or fools rushing to the gulag.

The White House has refused to follow a court order. This is the first step. Depending on what happens next could decide the fate of our country.

Every American concerned about how things are going should begin preparing essentials. It will likely get worse before it gets better. Stock up on essential supplies and food. Personal defense items are a must as well. Make a bug-out bag. Just be ready.

The people need to rally together and force the corrupt politicians into compliance with the will of its citizens. The Trump regime is dismantling our very country. We are weakened on the world stage. The world is mocking us and our complacency.

If the distress of the American people is to be taken seriously, protests of this scale must take place. If we cannot come together in a similar fashion then nothing will change.

You will not deceive me, fortune…

Learned a very important (obvious) lesson that one should read an article before commenting on a post sharing it. Being in a rush is not a good excuse to make an ass of oneself.

Life is like a turbulent ocean. There is constantly a wave threatening to sweep you away. Strengthen your inner self so that you may stand firm against them.

It’s been a while since I’ve been here. It’s grown a lot since then. Hopefully I have too.

This is a great read for those that struggle with imposter syndrome. I’m not in the industry, but I’ve been coding for 15 years as a hobbyist and I think the biggest reason I don’t do more than I have is the fear that I’ll be labeled an “imposter” www.codium.ai/blog/underst...

I could have done with a little less Monday in this Monday.

Deleted my Twitter (X) today. I didn’t use it much in the last couple of years, but it felt good to finally put it to rest. It hasn’t been a nice place as of late.

I'm kind of blown away at how *fast* it is to slap together a UI using SwiftUI. Not just fast, but nice looking as well. Really enjoying learning SwiftUI, I can't wait to see what is possible once I learn more.

I long to be somewhere beautiful. I feel as if my soul is yearning for a change of location, yet I am stuck where I am for the foreseeable future.

I have to say, I'm enjoying the seeming flexibility of SwiftUI and I've only just begun to learn it after previously working with only Storyboards.

I feel like I’ve been going down the wrong road on iOS dev - I’ve been learning storyboards and have just noticed that there is a lot of chatter about SwiftUI. As a newbie I had no idea but perhaps I should start looking into it

I’m relatively new to working with Swift, but I’ve been enjoying working on my first app for iOS. It’s nothing too complicated, but it’s a fun project to work on in the wee hours of the morning before work.

I’ve spent much of the last year examining car bloat, the process through which smaller vehicles are being replaced by increasingly massive SUVs and trucks. What I’ve learned: Huge cars are terrible for society, often in ways that are hidden. THREAD
