My daughter keeps asking about her uncle in Ireland and when we can go see him. It may be time to go visit the emerald isle once again. Let her throw rocks into the ocean and perhaps... we may never return to this backward rock across the pond.

I have been desiring peace and love this month for some reason. To remedy this I have been consuming a lot of quotes, books, media, and music by or about Fred Rogers. It has been amazing. I highly recommend it! #MisterRogers #Kindness

The Home Nations matches did not disappoint today. Well played to all. #SixNations #England #Wales #Ireland #Scotland. Today was a lot of fun.

I swear, if a news agency is putting their articles behind a paywall I am not interested in your publication. I know that journalists require payment, but 90% of the crap you pass off as original is just a rewrite of an AP or other wire article.

Post a gif from the last show you watched

My cousin @radagastirl.me and myself are about to launch a podcast on books, or at least revamp a podcast he has been working on… not sure the correct usage, but either way he made this amazing piece of cover art I had to share with the world.

Anybody know if Canada or Mexico are hiring wildlife biologists or environmental scientists. Was just informed that nowhere is hiring due to the GOP attack on natural resource protections.

If you have a Harkins in your area its $5.00 Tuesday night classics! tonight is Ferris Bueller's Day Off and next week I am taking the kiddo to see Singing in the Rain! www.harkins.com/events-and-s... #filmsky #moviesky

I’ve been losing weight, which is a good thing but now my dress shirts are too big. I can’t buy new ones as my neck is still large (blame strength sports) but my chest and gut has shrunk so I look like a kid wearing their dads shirts.

Has anyone played the new 2024 #DnD rules yet? I am running a campaign for some friends and realized that the leveling and progression systems of 5E have some limitations that supposedly are removed in the 2024 edition.

1. What's the first video game you played? Mario on NES 2. What video game do you think had the biggest impact on your life? World of Warcraft 3. What future video game are you most looking forward to (even if it'll never be made)? INZOI

I have gone 40 years before hearing about the Silence Dogood letters that Benjamin Franklin published when he was 16. I read through the first few and have to chuckle at his form of satire. He was a very clever person.

Looks like I will be boycotting ncaa football and men’s basketball. Actually I will just refuse to watch men’s sports now so that these amazing female athletes get their funding and money. Oh and in case you didn’t realize F*ck Trump!

I don’t always stay up to watch cricket, but when I do it is because USA is playing in a World Cup qualifier. Go USA.

I am not the biggest fan of sports but #rugby is one game that I will always make time for. I can think of no better way to start a weekend than the six nations.

My sign for a quick pharmacy run today that took me across picket lines. #KrogerStrike

Gods please stop the orange war monger from invading or bombing the Middle East. We had a pretty awesome four years and then messed it up. Now we are on the brink of WW3 and the axis of stupid is going to destroy our fair country.

A new record for me. I went 2.4 miles in a 45 minute cardio session and was able to run for a solid 5 minutes.

I got bored today and started reading through an online philosophy textbook. I've always enjoyed reading and thinking about the art of thinking, but I still have a hard time believing that people can make a living through thinking.

It has been almost six months since I've written to my representatives, I did so to all three today for this very reason. I am hoping that this madness ends sooner rather than later.

Walking around today and I saw an art gallery that was going out of business due to the owners retirement. I looked around and saw a Renoir, like an actual Renoir. Talked to the owner, it has never been in a museum, always been a private collection piece. It was an amazing artifact. #art

I have a very conservative uncle that was celebrating the overturn of coal burning limitations on Utah power plants. I did not want him to feel bad so I chose to post this article here. I want to remind people that particulates from coal are horrible. www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...

I keep seeing "Why aren't Americans protesting???" Meanwhile, there have been significant protests in LA and Chicago that are just not being covered by the media. If you're not on some social media not controlled by Zuckerberg or Musk, you don't know about it.

Decided that February is going to be my month to clear out the noise. I decided that in order to do this I was going to adopt a bit of Sherlock Holmes into my routine. Daily exercise, ignore things that don't matter, and pursue things I'm passionate about.

One of my biggest flaws in a society that exists online is that I am too kind. I was banned from a left wing subreddit for saying that I am against authoritarianism of any kind. Then they reported me for asking if they were for authoritarianism as they banned me for calling it out.

Being stagnant causes distress. I have come to realize this recently as the more time I spend without a clear direction the more time I spend surrounding myself with hate and divisive content. I think the way forward is to find action for your day. If nothing else, go touch grass.

Feeling accomplished tonight! Got next weeks video recorded and initial editing done, got tonights dnd session planned out and created, have stats pages ready to go, and have dinner on the stove. Why can't every day feel this way?

How have I been keeping my mind busy? I've been playing bots on chess.com. You know killing time and perfecting some of my ability to play this silly game.
