Anyway the next thing I need to do in the game is figure out how to programmatically do splines more complex than a straight line, then do snapping and vector inheritance through the snap. All of which smacks of the kind of math I haven't touched in 25 years.

In addition to some plastering I did a bunch of game plumbing so now not only can you make plans, you can abandon and even execute them so that your hairbrained ideas become concrete save state realised infrastructure!

Another team at work have an old Java 8 monolith that doesn't build, run, or run tests on my machine and my IDE can't even analyse it properly. I can only commit changes, see if they build and deploy them to hardware. Today's task is refusing all MR requests for improvements as impractical.
