i mean egg prices have stabalized and dropped a bit. i did get two 24 packs at costco recently that worked out to around 3.85 a dozen. but that still isn't back to older prices of around 2 bucks a dozen before this. i miss the days of the 99 cent dozen for sure.

here's a major thing about that supreme court race win tonight. this is going to really help dems in the house because r's can't re-gerrymander the maps there ahead of next fall's race. wisconsin is a purple state and the map should reflect that. wish the same could happen in north carolina.

we need to acknowledge that a big part of what drives this is that popular teams will bring eyeballs. unc is a blue blood and a big driver of viewers. if they could have put them in higher, they would have. doesn't matter who picks the teams, the tv metrics will still determine some outcomes.

a lot of brutalist architecture has aged terribly and continues to do so. the washington metro is one of those rarer examples where it hasn't. that view of the tubes and their waffle vaults crossing at those downtown transfer stations remains stunning.
