Something odd about this old Islands of Adventure advertisement is that it pictures Hulk's cobra roll THREE TIMES: one with the coaster, one behind the skyline, and one next to Dueling Dragons. I can get past science as we know it changing forever, but three Hulk cobra rolls?!

I didn't expect a coaster with a dead-straight layout to be this good, but it is! Georgia Gold Rusher is Six Flags Over Georgia's newest coaster. Powerful launches, forceful spinning airtime, and Dollywood-tier vibes: This coaster is gold. Instantly among the park's best.

Per Universal, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit's final day of operation will be Aug. 17. It will be closed by Aug. 18. Sidenote: It's a pet peeve of mine when theme parks announce a ride's closure date as the day AFTER it actually closes. It just adds confusion imo.

Bluesky gets all my neighborhood cat updates. That’s the way it goes. I finally got to meet Fern’s scaredy cat twin, Sage! Then Fern (right pic) showed up too. Sage smacked Fern and peaced out. Fern stayed like the sweet girl she is.
