What a great photo, the disc barrow is amazing. Despite living only a few miles away I've never been up Ladle Hill. Didn't know it was a hill fort. So close to Beacon Hill too - wish we could time travel! Sister went to Burghclere school where all the "houses" were named after hills including Ladle.
