I may have miscalculated

I have not been a practicing Catholic in decades. But in Francis, I recognized the best parts of the Catholicism I was raised with: a relentless focus on social justice and caring for poor and marginalized people. I will miss his voice.

HEY GUESS WHAT! Today is composer Florence Price's 138th birthday and for some reason I'm not seeing a lot of stuff about that so I WANT YOU to do your patriotic duty and revel in the life and work of this great American composer with me

As a child of the Cold War, I simply cannot get my head around…any of this. Sickening.

Apparently one can purchase “anxiety-calming pajamas” for one’s dog. That sounds amazing. Is there a human version?

Any talk you hear from the current administration about making the US more competitive in science and technology is utter bullshit. What they are doing is sabotaging our country for years if not decades to come.
