Gonna be real here (maybe this gets me cancelled...) Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 2 is BETTER than 1! Sure CRDM1 was ahead of its time, but CRDM2 has THE ISLAND OF DOMINO KILLFATHER!!! It's literally one of the best environments ever put in a video game??? I'm sorry. But CRDM2 is the GOAT. 🤷😎

While CRDM2 it has its own unique problems compared to CRDM1 (thanks to development hell), you have to give it credit for being imaginative with the match-3 system. I mean, a 3D cube board layout?? Insane idea, shouldn't have worked and yet it felt so seamless. I felt like a chess grandmaster

I know it wasn't the runaway hit that CRDM1 was but I thought it was a bold move for CRDM2 to take inspiration from the literary classic Dinosaur Beach as a commentary on man's desire to conquer the unknown through science while including a rhythm boss fight with time travel agent Lance Daring.

I know I’m in the minority but I feel like CRDM2 also just had a lot of heart and sincerity? It was a broken, beautiful mess—and you can’t say that about every game. It’s also one of the first games I remember to have an autonomous AI companion follow you throughout the entire thing. On the PS2!!
