It was a busy day and I accomplished quite a lot of positive things. But the one that stands out is the single game of Fortnite where I both cleared my Weekly Quest list AND won with a sword.

In my quest to catalogue every obscure board wargame, I posted an article on Wikipedia today about the very bad "The Civil War: The War That Pitted Brother Against Brother". Critics savaged the game, one of them calling it "worthless and stone stupid." Clearly this must be preserved for posterity.

And so it begins: December 1's Beer Advent Calendar offering is Kevin Mc'Ale'ister American Pale Ale (Parallel 49 Brewing, Vancouver, 4.5% ABV). A hazy pale ale, with the typical nose of NW hops, a gentle mouthfeel and the usual citrus flavours. Nice but rather unremarkable. #beeradventcalendar

Today I created a new Wikipedia article about a strange RPG, "Necronautilus", in which players are sentient clouds of gas called Death Agents who roam around the Death dimension, enforcing the will of the blind god Death. Since they have no limbs, they use Words of Power to take actions.
