why what happened?

@geoffrushton.bsky.social hope you're proud of me

Linkedin notifications are unhinged.

Will someone please do something about the goddamn solar roof salesmen?

Penn State men's basketball travels to Indiana tonight to take on the Hoosiers at 8:30 p.m. The game airs on BTN.

Penn State women's lacrosse hosts Drexel today at 4 p.m. The game is available on B1G+.

Company is switching from GMail to Outlook (for various, mostly frustrating reasons) and it doesn't recognize that the periods after a.m. and p.m. aren't at the end of a sentence. "1 p.m. Works" as opposed to "1 p.m. works." Tech remains dumb.

Penn State is missing something, and we’re here — with your help — to fix that problem. We're creating the Penn State Sports Hall of Fame and you decide who gets in. stuffsomerssays.com/the-blog/202...

For all of you up a little late, a new SSSWS venture/thing/pillar has dropped and we need your help. stuffsomerssays.com/the-blog/202...

John Buccigross and Kevin Weekes announce hockey games in a way that sounds like what you’d hear in an after school special.

I found something important tonight because of @pablo.show. Former Penn State basketball player Mike Watkins is presently 7th in the Philippine Basketball Association when it comes to scoring. www.pba.ph/stats www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4vV...

Smith Vilbert, who got a waiver to return to Penn State for a 6th year, is now in the portal as a grad transfer according to On3.

I have added Trace McSorley to the James Franklin coaching tree on the principle that Penn State called him an "assistant quarterback coach." By my count, he's at least the fourth former QB to play under Franklin to become a coach.

Pretty hefty deep dive on Penn State men's hockey's recent success on this week's podcast stuffsomerssays.com/the-podcast/...

I give you the USHL's Omaha Lancers, who are in the midst of a 28-game losing streak. lancers.com/sports/mhock...

Might go to Costco tonight.

"possibly"

I like how some websites put so much crap on the page that it crashes Safari. It’s a cool trick.

I got to season 2, episode 9 of Detroiters and honestly I should have seen it coming sooner.

Penn State women's hockey now knows its opponent for the AHA semis. It will take on RIT. Penn State is 4-0 against RIT this season.

Scoreboard update: We have begun the descoreboardification process. Decided it’s going to be easier to just build my own programming and install my own lights. So have spent today taking out some of the old ones and putting acrylic over the holes.

After the latest PairWise update, Penn State presently sits as the first team out. UMass and UMass Lowell -- the last two teams in so to speak -- play each other this coming weekend. (Hockey East still has two regular season weekends to go though)

A weird worry I have is that some of these ideas/policies from Elon are going to come to non-federal micromanagement managers and CEOs.

Penn State men's hockey completes a massive weekend with a 3-2 win over No. 1 Michigan State. The Nittany Lions will enter the final regular season weekend with postseason hopes very well alive.

Penn State men's lacrosse takes on Navy today at 1 p.m. That game is available on B1G+.

The Lady Lions head to Michigan today for a 12 p.m. game, airing on BTN.

Will probably update this in the morning as some games are lingering but here's where Penn State sits in terms of the Pairwise/NCAA Tournament. The CCHA and AHA teams are basically taking up two at-larges as opposed to the usual one.

Penn State men's hockey beats No.1 Michigan State in a shootout. The result is recorded as a tie. We will see if that moves them in the PairWise any. More importantly, it wasn't a loss. stuffsomerssays.com/penn-state-s...

There are a lot of folks doing great draft coverage right now but NO ONE does comps like @dannybkelly.bsky.social From his always excellent big board at nfldraft.theringer.com

BTN has shown a weird number of commercials from the Super Bowl during this Penn State hockey game.

Bob Shoop -- a long staple of the James Franklin coaching tree -- is back where the James Franklin coaching tree started: Vandy as a defensive analyst.

Guy Gadowsky just looked at the ref and went "You fucked that one up, bud" after MSU only got a 2-minute head contact penalty.
