A science fiction magazine has just given my my debut by publishing one of my short stories. I am very happy that the editor liked it enough to pay me. I must likewise acknowledge Button Moon, which inspired me and established my love of science fiction.

Outside the school, I intercepted and confronted the parent of the boy who has been bullying my daughter. During the exchange, our German Shepherd, Apollo, cocked his leg and pissed on the bully's leg and shoe. Good boy Apollo got treats and a new toy from me.
