Thanks to @girlswhochase.com for organizing the Spring Training 2025! I highly recommend taking part next year to everyone who wants to learn and broaden their knowledge about severe weather and storm chasing.

Photogenic little storm cell just to the south of #Darwin earlier. This shot from the drone taken at Knuckey Lagoon looking south ⚡️ #WxSky #TopEnd #Australia #StormHour

I can‘t wait to see lightning like this again this season ^^

Twin tornadoes in Italy!

Storm chasing at night can be more difficult than at daytime. On the upside, there is less traffic and the atmosphere can be very different sometimes. I hope to experience a few more nighttime chases in 2025 ^^

Sometimes it’s just you, the storm and the sunset on the other side. Photo was taken on 5th September 2024 in Belgium near Liège.

Oh, I miss hiking in summer. January just started, so it’s going to be a looong wait…

Tornado near McCall Creek, MS.

It‘s that time of the year again! :D

Okay, last photo in black and white for now… ;D

The „thing“, but this time in black and white!

Some clouds in black and white… might post some more of these ^^

A lonely flower in front of a vanishing rain shower in the distance…

This is definetly one of the most impressive weather photos out there!

Guess I am in my sunset phase right now. Here is another one!

A #beautiful monster of a supercell looms over rural Imperial, #Nebraska in 2019. Might have to tap for full image idk yet I’m new here lol #blueskywx #newx #photography #stormhour

I just remembered the one time I didn't notice that my camera settings were totally off. However, a few evening photos still ended up being alright. Always check your camera settings before going on a storm chase...

Yeah, I just love sunsets… ^^

Perhaps my favorite photo I've ever taken of a storm. Nothing beats structure and clean bolts under the stars.

Chasing the beast This supercell produced two tornadoes and severe downbursts in northern Italy back in 2020. We saw the second tornado as it crossed the motorway right in front of us. I took this image about 30 min later as we repositioned. At this time the storm was in its downburst stage.

The sunset in Belgium on my vacation last week ^^

I realised that I only posted storm chasing related photos on here so far. But I think it’s time to be more active… so expect some more engagement one here soon! :)

Another throwback to June 29th! It was such an insane day for me…

So far I only got one good time lapse this year. Hope I can get some more next year. #wxsky #wxbluesky

Throwback to June 29th when I captured a possible funnel cloud in the night near Plütscheid, Rhineland-Palatinate! #wxsky #wxbluesky

Great to see so many new storm chasers and weather nerds on Bluesky! Oh, and here is a nice shelf cloud from my last storm chase in Belgium :) #wxsky #wxbluesky

Captured a few lightning strikes on this short lived thunderstorm yesterday. The season is coming to an end it seems…

Dark clouds approaching over the hills, rolling thunder in the background… this is what I love about storm chasing!

The highlight of my second storm chase… a rotating wallcloud. It was fully rainwrapped a few minutes later and I had to back up though.

I had two storm chases in Belgium this week. Only a handful photos from the first one, this one might be the best.

Watching a thunderstorm at night is always something special - even from far away.

Sometimes everything that can go wrong, will go wrong. From completely losing internet connection and being on the wrong side of the storm to the road being blocked by a fallen tree. Anyways… never stop chasing!

Some amazing lightning strikes as well! I need to work on my camera settings though... there is still lots of potential for improvement.

Photogenic Mammatus clouds right above me yesterday! I also met a fellow storm chaser and we teamed up to follow the storms into the night.
