Today's chore - planting 50 Eastern White and Red pine seedlings in our woods. Planted Norway Spruce last summer. Goal is to diversify the woods by adding evergreens and native trees. The majority of trees are Elm and Hackberry. Certain Juneau will be helping. #Satuday #Chores #diy #gardening

We spent a good part of last summer and fall removing invasive honeysuckle from our woods. With more sun reaching the forest floor, this little daffodil was able to bloom. Previously, the plant wouldn't bloom.
