Repost with the first album you bought with your own money. (‘Arrival’ was the first ABBA album that was solely mine, but that was bought for me by mum and dad the year before).

We all need friends like these.

Catching up on this week's House of Games. Every time Robert Webb buzzes in correctly I find myself shouting "THAT'S NUMBERWANG!"

Paddington in Peru was predictably lovely. I now want a sequel with Olivia Colman *and* Hugh Grant please!

Morning!

Tonight’s theatrical treat - Inside No. 9: Stage/Fright. Hilarious and horrific in equal measure, with just a pinch of pathos thrown in - just like the series. Reece and Steve are absolute geniuses. Also, I now have a new Favourite Mug.

Morning!

Tonight’s theatrical treat - Much Ado About nothing with Tom Hiddleston and Hayley Atwell. Fanbloodytastic! I’ve never seen Shakespeare done so originally and it was just great fun from start to finish. Tom and Hayley were outstanding. BanginTunes/10.

Home-made beef (mince) wellington for tea, lads!

I completely forgot about the cricket today! Having just checked the score, I’m glad I didn’t bother to watch it.

Putting someone's spoon on their chair at lunchtime. The only time I really got in trouble and such a trivial thing. I had to stand with my hands on my head in the hall for about half an hour while everyone else had their dinner.

Really wouldn't surprise me at this point if he decided to switch to Labour.

In your opinion, what’s a cover version of a song that not only holds up to the original but wildly exceeds it? Here’s mine: youtu.be/CDl9ZMfj6aE?...

You don't 'understand and respect' fascists, Mr Mandelson. You challenge and call the fuckers out at every opportunity, you craven old twat. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

I bloody love Alison Steadman but blimey, her autobiography is a bit dull.

Went to a walk-in clinic this morning to sit and wait to have two X-rays done. Thought I'd be there for ages. Was in and out in 15 minutes. Gawd bless our NHS!

Dua Meepa.

Kid crush go

Last day in my job today. It’s been a bit emotional, but I’ve left on good terms and I got a glowing testimonial* from the Head and Deputy Head in the staff bulletin. Now looking forward to a couple of weeks off, then back to temping I (hopefully!) go. *Matron!

Workmate was discussing last night's Grammys with one of our students in the office this morning, and I realised that I probably haven't actively listened to any new music since the mid-to-late 2000's. Worse still, I found myself not really caring. I have finally turned into my parents.
