This feels like a Sunday morning. Was once driving on my way for a sunrise balloon flight over the Serengeti when one of these bad boys burst thru the foliage. They are surprisingly fast and simply terrifying.

Vina and Maile exchanging morning pleasantries!

Sadie and Bluey determining who is first among equals. Sadie is tiny but packs a wallop!

Anybody else been to the house (Karen Blixen museum) used to film Out of Africa in Kenya? It’s really quite spectacular.

Roses are beautiful but at my house they take a lot of work to protect them from the dew.

The flowering cactus First Light is among my favorites.

Chloe playing king of the hill.😜

Helped my nephew create a flowering cactus garden last year. This Candicann loves it there.

Babies are very comfy snuggling on the milking stand.

Bees love flowering cactus!

Off to see my cardiologist for a routine checkup. I’m ready!

Mt Kilimanjaro. Hemingway got it right.

Bringing sisters Bluey and Sadie home in my Lexus. The looks from fellow commuters were priceless.

I was feeling pretty, pretty good this morning at my weekly weigh in for my diet having lost several pounds. And then this happened and I realized I was the counter weight. Life comes at you pretty fast sometimes!

For the King of Bonds who just followed me, I see you. 😎

Hint of Gold has smaller flowers resembling just opening roses. “More flowers per gallon!”

Sunday mornings are the best!

Nellie was our first goat. Such a sweet girl.

Flowering cactus. More flowers per gallon.

Nellie loves to head butt everyone.

My favorite time of the year is getting near. Baby goats and flowering cactus. Can’t wait!

Be careful to remove your fallen trees.

Rocky making friends with a visitor. This pic made the cover of a local paper.

Absolutely love the coloring of the flowering cactus Arizona Sunset.

Took two of my pups to dog beach in Del Mar today. Maggie who is blind made lots of friends today!

Wanna get away?

The Hans Britsch is starting to bud. Should have a pretty impressive bloom later in the week.

How about Maggie Houll to start the week.

Look who’s less than a half hour behind meow. 🫣

Big meow!

This picture of Bandit reminds me of Ralph; both on the lookout for Wile E. Coyote.

The Bronze Star in afternoon light from last spring.

Rocky, Chloe, and Hudson lounging in the late afternoon.

Handsome Hudson smelling the first coyote to begin his nightly bunny hunt.

Sadie and her daughter Maile wish there had been rain this past year. Their yard would normally be filled with their favorite mustard grass by now.

The Fantastic put on a great show last spring. Am hoping she shows up big again!

That grey is actually smoke from the Border Fire a couple of days ago. Recent rains have helped bring the 6k acre fire under control. Will be hosting a dinner Thursday for some retired wildfire fighters. Guessing I might hear some stories!

Ducks adore fresh water and don’t even wait until their pool is filled to jump in and bath.

Our pup Maggie was found abandoned and blind when she was only a few weeks old. But don’t let her disability fool you as she finds her way all around the farm and loves rough housing with our other dogs. We’ve learned to keep the roadways and paths clear so she’s not surprised. Champ!

The weeding staff stretching out for the orange tree’s leaves. It’s the first thing they go for when they breakout.

The guardians hanging out.

Whoever named her Bambi got the name right.
