Stanford will surely admit the kid now.

A thread on NIH Reorganization and the Scientific Management Review Board (SMRB) Disclosure: I was involved with the SMRB since its inception and have very strong feelings about how it was used, misused, and abandoned. My passion on these issues will undoubtably show through. 1/n

Agree. Also one's own goal doesn't need to be the ultimate goal of a whole scientific field.

Tragic tale. Terrific thread.

It's almost always better to have experts do a job and also explain things.

This graph is astonishing. The people that bang on about “natural birth” and “women have been doing this forever without help” need to be forced to stare at this until their eyes water.

I think people may be over-estimating how bad this piece is. In the very next paragraph Klein says Trump had inhibitors around him in his first term and concludes that things will be far worse if he’s elected again. It takes awhile to get to its point but it’s not sane-washing Trump.

Hang on a minute…

This is a powerful ad that deserves to be spread far and wide. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Djwp...
